Privacy Policy - ChaosBoost
Introduction
- ChaosBoost is dedicated to safeguarding your privacy and the safety of your personal information.
- In this Privacy Policy, we will inform you of our practices of data collection, usage, disclosure, and protection.
- This Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information.
Data Collection
- Payment Processing: We retain order and payment records needed to process purchases and refunds. Trustworthy third-party payment processors handle secure transactions.
- Website Analytics: We collect usage data, including visit identifiers and campaign information, about the way you interact with our site to evaluate and improve the performance of our platform and your experience.
- Personal Information: We collect necessary personal data, such as name, email, and contact details, when you create an account or place an order.
Data Consumption and Distribution
- Service Delivery: We use your personal information for order processing, progress communication and provision of the requested boosting services.
- Communication: Your email may be used by us to answer inquiries, offer support, and send service-related notifications. Registration or placing an order automatically subscribes you to our marketing emails unless you have already opted out. You can unsubscribe using the link in the first promotional email you receive. Necessary service-related messages may still be sent.
- Legal Requirements: In any event that we need to protect our rights, property or safety, or are obliged by law, court order, or government regulation, we may disclose your information.
- Third-Party Providers: We engage trusted service providers to assist in delivering services, processing payments, and conducting analytics. They are obligated to maintain data confidentiality. Separately, we use Microsoft Advertising (Bing) and Google Ads for personalised advertising and remarketing; what they receive is described in “Data we share with Microsoft and Google” below. Advertising disclosures may qualify as sale or sharing under applicable U.S. law. Our Cookie Policy describes the information involved, its sources and recipients, purposes and browser retention.
The right of data protection and data retention
- Data Retention: We hold onto your personal data for only as long as we need to accomplish the purposes set forth in this Privacy Policy or as required by law.
Accounts and purchase history: We do not automatically close an account or remove its purchase history solely because it is inactive or old. We retain the details needed to maintain your account and its full purchase history while the account exists, so you can access previous purchases and loyalty benefits. This is subject to deletion requests and applicable retention requirements. We review whether personal information is still necessary and delete or anonymise information that no longer serves its stated purpose.
Support and disputes: We retain support correspondence linked to your account while the account exists and the correspondence remains necessary for customer support. For enquiries not linked to an account, we retain correspondence for as long as needed to handle the enquiry and any related service or claim. Internal dispute cases are marked closed 180 days after submission. This administrative closure does not shorten statutory rights or payment-provider dispute periods, change the status of an external dispute, or end a duty to preserve records needed for a legal claim.
Detailed analytics: We retain our own visit and advertising-attribution records for up to 24 months from the event, and delete them sooner if they are no longer necessary. For user-level and event-level data covered by Google Analytics data-retention controls, we use a retention setting of up to 14 months, subject to shorter provider limits. New activity does not extend the stated retention period for a past event. Browser-cookie lifetimes are separate from these server-side retention rules.
Aggregate statistics: We may retain genuinely anonymised, aggregated statistics without a fixed expiry. This applies only where the statistics can no longer identify you or be linked back to you; replacing an identifier with a hash does not by itself meet that standard. - Security Measures: We employ industry-standard security measures to safeguard your personal information from unauthorized access, alteration, or destruction.
Your Rights and Choices
- Access and Correction: You have the privilege to access, revise or change the personal data that is stored. Contact us to exercise this right.
- Data Deletion: Your personal data can be deleted upon your request unless there are legal obligations that we must honor in keeping certain data. On an applicable request, we delete your ordinary account profile, preferences and optional history. We retain only records still necessary for legal accounting obligations, legal claims or disputes, and a minimal record needed to respect marketing or privacy opt-outs. Applicable Hong Kong business transaction records must be kept for at least 7 years after the relevant transaction; this does not require retaining your entire profile or correspondence. We restrict retained records to those purposes and delete them when they are no longer required. An internal case being marked closed does not override a legal preservation requirement.
- Opt-Out: You can unsubscribe using the link in the first promotional email you receive. Messages that are related to the service can still be sent. Depending on your state of residence and applicable U.S. law, you may have rights to know about, access and receive a copy of, correct or delete your personal information, and to opt out of sale, sharing or targeted advertising. For rights requests, requests by an authorised agent, or an appeal where applicable, contact support@chaosboost.com. We may verify identity or authority where needed for the request. We do not discriminate for exercising applicable rights.
Third-Party Links and Privacy of Children
- Third-Party Websites: Third-party sites may be linked to our website. Look at their privacy policy before giving personal information.
- Children’s Privacy: We do not provide our services to people under 13. Orders for minors must be placed or confirmed by a parent or legal representative.
Policy Changes and Details of Contacts
Policy Modifications: This Privacy Policy may be changed in the future. Such changes will be made effective as at the time when the revised policy is posted on our website.

Data we share with Microsoft and Google
We use Microsoft Advertising (Bing) with its Universal Event Tracking (UET) tag, Google Ads and Google Analytics to measure visits and purchases, build advertising audiences, run remarketing and show you personalised ads. These services run for visitors in all countries and regions, including the EEA, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, whichever language version of the site you use. The Microsoft tag does not run in the ChaosBoost mobile app and sends no page views or events from account, sign-in and similar private pages.
Information collected from your browser is sent to Microsoft and Google: the pages you view on our site (with private parameters, such as access tokens, removed from the address) and the referring page, your IP address, technical information about your browser and device, and identifiers stored in cookies, including the click ID added to the address when you click one of their ads (msclkid for Microsoft; gclid, gbraid or wbraid for Google). Google also receives the products you view and add to your cart.
For a paid order, when its confirmation page opens in your browser, Microsoft receives the order value, currency, order number and an event ID, but not your email address, phone number or the products purchased. Google receives the order value, currency, order number, the products purchased and whether it is your first order with us, as well as your email address and phone number in hashed form (SHA-256) to match the purchase to an ad click; this purchase information is sent to Google from your browser and also from our server. We keep the Google click ID and the hashed contact details of an order for up to 90 days for this purpose.
Microsoft processes this information under the Microsoft Privacy Statement; Google processes it under the Google Privacy Policy and explains its use in How Google uses information from sites that use its services. Microsoft’s ad settings and Google’s My Ad Center control whether those companies show you personalised ads; they do not change the information our website sends.
Advertising and analytics cookies and storage
| Name and type | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|
| _uetsid, _uetvid — cookies (Microsoft Advertising UET) | Session and visitor identifiers that let Microsoft measure visits and purchases and build audiences. Microsoft may also keep copies in local storage. | About 1 day and about 13 months (390 days), respectively; renewed on later visits. |
| _uetmsclkid — cookie (Microsoft Advertising UET) | Stores the Microsoft click ID (msclkid) after you click a Microsoft ad, so that a purchase can be attributed to it. | 90 days. |
| MUID and related cookies (such as MR and MSPTC) — on Microsoft domains | Microsoft’s own browser identifiers, which Microsoft sets when the UET tag loads; covered by the Microsoft Privacy Statement. | Set by Microsoft; MUID about 13 months. |
| cb_ | Records the order numbers of paid purchases already reported to Microsoft from this browser, so that the same purchase is not sent again from it. This is only a local safeguard for this browser; it does not guarantee that no duplicate is ever sent. | No automatic expiry. Keeps up to 500 order numbers; entries older than 365 days are no longer taken into account but may remain stored until a later purchase is recorded or the site data is cleared. |
| _gcl_ | Advertising identifiers and the Google click ID, used to measure conversions and attribute purchases to ads. | 90 days. |
| IDE, NID and other cookies on Google domains (Google) | Google’s own identifiers for personalised advertising and remarketing, set by Google on its domains. | Set by Google: IDE 13 months in the EEA, Switzerland and the UK and 24 months elsewhere; NID 6 months after last use. |
| cb_ | Keeps the Google click identifier (gclid, gbraid or wbraid) from an ad you clicked, so that a later paid order can be attributed to that ad. | 90 days from the click; an expired value is deleted the next time it is read. |
| _ga, _ga_ | Browser and session identifiers that let Google Analytics measure visits, the products you view and purchases. | 2 years (Google’s default); renewed on later visits. |
