WoW TBC Classic Gold is the primary in-game currency in World of Warcraft: The Burning Crusade Classic expansion. Players use gold for a wide range of purposes, including purchasing epic gear and crafting materials on the Auction House, learning spells and abilities from class trainers, and funding necessities like mounts, profession recipe purchases, or consumables (potions, elixirs, buff food).
The Burning Crusade Classic expansion introduced even greater currency sinks and challenges for the in-game economy. Epic flying mount training alone costs 5,000 gold. The 5,000-gold requirement far exceeds the amount of in-game money most players have saved by level 70.
The expansion also added daily quests as a new way to earn money. Each daily quest provides roughly 10 to 12 coins as a reward for completion. Players can complete up to 25 daily quests per day on each character. Despite the introduction of daily quests as an additional income source, many gamers still struggle to gather enough funds for all necessary expenses in Outland. A dedicated raider might spend hundreds of gold each week on consumables, enchantments, and repair bills. Competitive guilds running GDKP raids often see coveted items command bids of several thousand gold. Expensive crafted gear on the market also drives up demand for currency.
