Rewards
The Sea of Thieves Burning Blade event rewards victorious crews with treasure and unique loot. Whether you send the Blade to the depths or deliver it to Flameheart, you’ll be swimming in gold (and ship holds). Here’s a breakdown of the key SoT rewards and progression benefits you can earn:
- Mountains of Gold: Completing this Sea of Thieves event gives you a lot of gold. Sinking it gets you the Blade of Souls, a ghostly chest worth about half the event’s value. Capturing and returning it gets you base rewards of ~14,000 gold, plus +26,000 gold per Ritual. A crew that completes multiple rituals can get 100k+ gold in one go, especially if you’re flying a Grade V Reaper’s Bones Emissary for gold multipliers. (That’s a king’s ransom without even counting emissary bonuses!)
- Reputation & Emissary Value: Helping SoT Flameheart by returning the ship gives you Reaper’s Bones reputation. Each ritual you do not only increases the gold value but also your Reaper’s Bones Emissary grade. Four rituals will get a Reaper Emissary flag to Grade V, maxing out gold and rep gains. Even if you sink the ship, turning in the Blade of Souls gives you commendations with Gold Hoarders, Order of Souls, Merchant Alliance, and Reapers – a rare item every faction will buy. Pirate Legends can even impress the Mysterious Stranger with it.
- Exclusive Loot & Treasures: This Sea of Thieves encounter has Ghost loot. Expect Storage Crates of the Damned full of supplies from lesser ghost ships and the flagship’s own hold. When Flameheart’s galleon is defeated, it leaves behind ghostly treasures: Ghost Captain Skulls spooky chests, and the Blade of Souls. These items are worth a lot of gold and count towards commendations and Season rewards.
- Commendations & Cosmetics: Conquering the SoT event earns you in-game commendations. Get titles like “Crew of the Burning Blade” for delivering Flameheart’s flagship or “Hot Shot” for sinking it under fire. High commendation grades unlock the Obsidian ship cosmetics (Hull, Sails, Cannons, etc.) and the Reborn cosmetics that show off your allegiance to Flameheart. There are even secret commendations that count towards Servant of the Flame progression, unlocking exclusive pirate Legend attire for Reaper-aligned captains.
Options
Every crew has different goals, so ChaosBoost Sea of Thieves Burning Blade Boost comes in multiple variations. Whether you want a quick smash-and-grab or a full-on run with maximum rewards, we’ve got you covered. Below are the service options we offer, each tailored to a playstyle (or should we say plunder-style):
- Quick Burning Blade Sink: For Sea of Thieves pirates who want a fast win. ChaosBoost crew will find and engage the Burning Blade, focus fire to sink it in the first phase and get you the artifact. This option is faster and skips the ritual phase. You’ll still get a good amount of gold (the Blade of Souls’ value) and credit for defeating Flameheart’s flagship, all in one ship battle. Perfect if you’re short on time but want that ghostly loot.
- Full Burning Blade Capture & Rituals: This is the biggest SoT boost for maximum gold and progress. We defeat skeleton crew but take control of the ship instead of scuttling it. Then we sail under Flameheart’s flag and complete as many Rituals at Skeleton Camps as you want – usually 4 for the best haul, but we can do more if you ask. Each ritual increases the gold and Reaper’s rep. Finally, we deliver the ship to Flameheart at the Reaper’s Hideout for a huge reward. You’ll get tens of thousands of gold, sky-high Reaper’s Bones reputation, and progress towards all related commendations. This option lets you see the whole event play out from start to finish.
- Custom Bundle (Multiple Completions or Specific Targets): If you need a Sea of Thieves title or multiple completions, we offer custom bundles. For example, you might want to sink it 3 times for a commendation or do one sink and one capture to cover both outcomes. We can tailor the boost to your needs. We can also do self-play assist (you play alongside our crew) or piloted (we handle everything for you). Just let us know what you want to achieve, and we’ll chart the course.
Requirements
Before we set sail on this ghostly Sea of Thieves adventure, make sure you meet the requirements for a smooth boost service. Don’t worry – there’s not much to bring besides your pirate spirit:
- Sea of Thieves Account: You must own Sea of Thieves on Xbox or PC. (Any pirate can participate – no specific level or Pirate Legend status required for the event.) Make sure your game is up-to-date so you can access the world event.
- Open Crew Slot or Account Access: We need you to invite our SoT pro pirates onto your ship or give us temporary helm duty on your account. If you’re on console, crossplay needs to be enabled so our PC pirates can join your game. We’ll handle your pirate with care and discretion – your account’s safety is our top priority.
- Stable Connection & In-Game Communication: The Sea of Thieves Burning Blade fight can get intense. A stable internet connection is required to prevent disconnects mid-battle. We also recommend being available via in-game voice or text chat (or Discord) if you’re playing with us so we can coordinate like a well-oiled crew. Don’t worry, we’ll use plenty of “ayes” and pirate lingo to keep it fun!
How to Complete Burning Blade Boost
Doing the Burning Blade Boost in Sea of Thieves requires precision, firepower, and coordination. Whether you’re going for a quick sink or a ritual-heavy capture, here’s how to get it done:
- Track the World Event: Find the red tornado and skull clouds that mark Flameheart’s fleet. Sail fast – the event disappears if not started soon enough.
- Ghost Ships First: The fleet has multiple waves. Burn through the Ghost Ships first, keep repairs constant.
- Focus on the Burning Blade: When the flagship appears, hammer it with constant cannon fire. Keep your ship mobile and avoid mines.
- Sink or Capture: If you’re going for the Blade of Souls, finish it off. If capturing, wait for the skeletons to abandon ship and board it.
- Rituals (if capturing): Head to marked Skeleton Camps, perform rituals, and defend the ship.
- Deliver to Reaper’s Hideout: Once rituals are done, sail the ghost ship to Flameheart’s location to complete the event.
