Requirements
Before we set sail on your SoT Pirates of Mischief boost, there are a few basic requirements to make sure everything goes off without a hitch. Don’t worry – these are things every player likely has covered. Here’s what you’ll need:
- Active Sea of Thieves Account – You must own Sea of Thieves and have an active Xbox Live/Microsoft account (whether on PC or Xbox). Essentially you need to have access to the game and be able to log in so we can do the boost on your pirate.
- Adventure Mode Access – The Pirates of Mischief commendations are in the Adventure mode of Sea of Thieves (the main open-world setting). Make sure your account can play Adventure mode freely (most players can by default; no special unlocks required).
As long as these requirements are met, our ChaosBoost crew can get started on your Sea of Thieves boost. If you have any questions about requirements (for example, not being a Pirate Legend but wanting certain Athena related rewards), just reach out to us – we can advise or make accommodations. We’re here to make your Pirates of Mischief boost smooth sailing from the start.
How to Complete Pirates of Mischief Boost in Sea of Thieves
So what does it actually take to complete all those Pirates of Mischief commendations on your own? It’s a long and sneaky journey full of creative piracy. To give you an idea, here’s a quick breakdown of how to complete the Pirates of Mischief commendations step by step in Sea of Thieves:
- Master the New Tools – First things first, get familiar with the new mischief-making tools from Season 14. Grab a Blowpipe from the armory (it lets you fire special darts) and the Grapple Gun if available. Learn how the Lure Dart attracts enemies, the Poison Dart… well, poisons them, and the Black Powder Dart creates a big boom. Also practice crouching (sneak mode) to hide your nameplate and try hanging off ledges of ships.
- Dart Challenges – A big part of Pirates of Mischief is using those blowpipe darts creatively. You’ll need to do things like lure 35 skeletons into water with the Lure Dart, poison 150 enemies with the Poison Dart, and ignite groups of phantoms with a Black Powder Dart. It’s chaos!
- Grappling and Sneaking – Next focus on the Grapple Gun and stealth commendations. With the grapple, you’ll have to do things like pull enemies off their ship onto yours (and vice versa), board skeleton ships with the grapple, and travel a long distance via grapple hook.
- Disguises – Now it’s time to become the treasure. Disguise commendations require you to hide as a chest or barrel and avoid detection. You’ll need to sneak around on enemy ships while disguised and also catch other players who are hiding in disguise.
- Hanging – Ever dangled off the side of a galleon? You will now. For the hanging commendations, you’ll have to hang from various ship types (skeleton ships and player ships) for certain distances and even hang off specific shipwrecks across the map.
- Set Traps and Trick Your Friends – Last but not least, become a trap master. Season 14 lets you bury traps with things like Jigball (dancing curse) or a red flare. You’ll need to make other players dance by triggering your Jigball trap, disarm traps others set, and get enemies to stumble into your flare traps. This is one of the tougher sets because it often involves other players.
As you can see, Pirates of Mischief is a long journey – it requires a lot of skills, from PvE combat to PvP trickery, and a lot of patience and creativity. Most players will find this taking weeks of dedicated play, coordination with friends, and maybe a little luck with finding targets. If that sounds like a lot to ask, that’s because it is! That’s why we offer this boost service: we love these kinds of challenges, and we do them every day so you don’t have to.
