WoW Forever Alts and the Legacy System
The Legacy system gives one point for the first character of each class at each of three progression tiers. Every character (outside Hardcore) spends up to 16 points from their Battle.net account’s shared pool on their perks. This allows your main to use the points your alts earn. The Legacy Rewards track counts every point and unlocks the Reins of the Spectral Bear mount at 55 points, after a toy, a pet, and a tabard. That’s why players level up alts in classes they don’t have on their account.
Faster Alt Leveling With Well Rested
The five ranks of Well Rested in the Adventure tree give a character +20% to rested experience gain and to their rested experience cap. Talented moves your first talent point from level 10 to 9. The fifth rank of this perk lowers the threshold to level 5. That’s why WoW Forever alts reach 60 in less time. We recommend resetting Talented at the class trainer at the cap, where this perk gives no benefit.
Camp Tent from Leatherworking skill 20 increases rested experience to 5% of a level for all players at the campfire. A character with rested experience above this threshold does not receive the bonus. All camping features share a common cooldown of 1 hour. You can plan your alts’ professions for Legacy crafting challenges along with your class selection. Two such professions allow a character to earn up to six points for the account.
Legacy Points per Class for Alts
Class Legacy challenges give 27 out of 65 points to the account. The game gives the Novice and Experienced tiers to a class when its character first reaches levels 25 and 45. Master comes with level 60. Each of the nine classes gives three points for these tiers:
- Warrior
- Paladin
- Hunter
- Rogue
- Priest
- Shaman
- Mage
- Warlock
- Druid
The PvP ruleset requires all characters on an account to be in the same faction. Normal, RP, and Hardcore rulesets allow both factions. Undead Paladin and Dwarf Shaman give both the Horde and the Alliance a full set of nine classes. We recommend choosing classes that are new to your account in the options, and choosing the number of characters that fits your plan for the Legacy Rewards track up to the 55-point mark. Pilot mode suits players who don’t have free evenings to spend on quests.
