How This Service Works

  1. Placing an Order

You choose the region, ruleset, and faction on the service page. These options determine your raid, since the game maintains a single shared world for each ruleset. Quick checkout displays the form on the same page.

  2. Payment

The Buy now button opens the payment method selection. Your ChaosBoost account balance covers up to 100% of the cost of the attempts. You'll receive a personal 10% discount code after registration and enter it in the promo code field before you click Apply.

  3. Raid Booking

Operators receive the order upon payment. They begin the booking process within 5 minutes and secure a spot for your character in a 40-player raid in most cases. You'll coordinate the start time with the operator.

  4. Service Execution

The run begins with an invitation from the raid leader to join the group. Your character takes one of the 40 spots in the raid. Our team kills Onyxia on every reset for your order and gives you the grimoire by loot priority if it drops.

  5. Order Completion

The operator checks the run results with you. They verify the kill and loot for each weekly reset in your order. You can leave a review on the website.

We close the order after the final attempt, even if the grimoire doesn't drop. Our team will rerun the raid for free if the run lacks an Onyxia kill or the loot priority for the grimoire.

Frequently Asked Questions

Who Can Use Ancient Cornerstone Grimoire?

Healers and casters hold this grimoire in their off-hand next to a one-handed weapon. The BoP (Bind on Pickup) mechanism binds the item to the player who looted it. That's why your character is in our 40-player raid at every weekly reset.

What Level Do You Need for Ancient Cornerstone Grimoire?

Your character needs to be level 60 to equip this grimoire. Blizzard sets the same level requirement for the Onyxia raid in Dustwallow Marsh. Each of the 40 participants also needs Drakefire Amulet in their inventory. The faction attunement questline rewards it after the fight with General Drakkisath.

How Often Do Attempts Happen?

Your character gets one attempt per raid reset. The game resets this raid once a week. That's why an order for multiple attempts spans as many weeks, with one fight per week. You choose the time for each run together with the operator.

Do I Need to Play During the Raid?

You can watch the fight or participate in it at the leader's command. Instructions come via Discord upon your request. AFK mode is available if you've checked the AFK option on the service page. Grimoire loot priority applies to your character in any of these modes.

Do I Get a Legacy Point?

The first kill of Onyxia grants your account one Legacy Point. This kill completes one of the three raid Legacy Challenges. Each of your characters spends Legacy Points on perks in the Professions, Adventure, and Resourcefulness trees. That's why this fight works for both your main and your alts.

Ancient Cornerstone Grimoire for Healers

The grimoire from Onyxia is an epic off-hand item for healers. Its BoP restriction binds this item to the character the moment you loot it from the dragon's corpse. That's why players cannot list the grimoire on the auction house. We recommend this off-hand to healers and casters by specialization:

  • Holy Priest
  • Restoration Druid
  • Holy Paladin
  • Restoration Shaman
  • Mage

Holy Priests, Restoration Druids, and Mages cannot equip a shield. That's why books like this grimoire take up their off-hand slot. Healers and casters of all these specializations compete for a single copy of this item from Onyxia in every 40-player raid. Our team puts your character at the top of the loot priority list. You won't have to win a roll against other raid members.

Onyxia's Lair Off-Hand Drop

The drop rate for this off-hand item from Onyxia was 25% per kill in Classic. Onyxia's raid in World of Warcraft Forever opens the fight against her once a week. That's why we sell the grimoire as a series of attempts where your character joins a 40-player raid alongside our boosters. You won't have to look for a group for every weekly reset.

You can buy Ancient Cornerstone Grimoire from us with loot priority. There is no drop guarantee for this service, because the game determines the loot from the boss on each of your character's attempts. Raid entry requires level 60 and Drakefire Amulet in your bag.

Healer Gear and WoW Forever BiS List

The grimoire was on the Holy Priest BiS list during the first phase of Classic. Onyxia brings three more gear items for healers and casters. The Shard of the Scale trinket restores mana during long fights. Onyxia's Sapphiron Drape cloak fits both healers and casters in the back slot at level 60. This allows you to collect part of a healer's gear from the same boss.

Head of Onyxia unlocks a quest with a choice of three items. Casters should choose the Dragonslayer's Signet ring as their reward, which provides +11 Intellect and +11 Stamina for the finger slot. Another bonus from this item grants +7 spell damage. We consider Dragonslayer's Signet to be the best quest reward for casters.
