How This Service Works

  1. Placing an Order

You choose the region, rule set, and faction on the service page. Quick checkout opens a form right there and asks for the details we need to send the pet. Our operators will help you choose the options that best suit your character.

  2. Payment

The Buy now button opens the payment method selection for ordering the cat. Your ChaosBoost account balance covers up to 100% of the service price. You can activate your personal 10% discount code after registration with the Apply button in the promo code field.

  3. Booking

The operator receives your order as soon as you pay. They begin the booking process within 5 minutes for most purchases and assemble a team of characters from your world. You can add any specific requests regarding the delivery method to your order.

  4. Service Execution

Our team farms Dalaran mages on our own characters. You won’t have to spend your evenings on mobs with low drop rates. The item comes to you via mail or trade within your region, rule set, and faction.

  5. Order Completion

The operator reviews the run results with you after delivery. You can leave feedback about our team’s work and the pet itself later on the ChaosBoost website.

The operator closes the order once the item is in your character’s bag. We’ll repeat the run for you free of charge if any rewards from the list are missing.

FAQ

Who Can Use Black Tabby?

Characters of any class, race, and faction can use the Cat Carrier. The item’s tooltip does not contain the Classes or Races lines, which would restrict the item by class or race. But Forever does not transfer characters between factions or rule sets. That's why you must specify the faction for the pet’s delivery in your order.

What Level Do You Need for Black Tabby?

The item does not require the character to be at any specific level. The number 20 in the tooltip refers to the item level and does not restrict summoning the companion. Level is important for farming level 21-35 Dalaran mages in Silverpine Forest and Alterac Mountains. Your character will get the pet at any level because we handle this farming for you.

Is Black Tabby Worth It in WoW Forever?

We recommend this cat (it has no stats or combat bonuses) to pet collectors. The main reason to order it is that it’s a very rare drop from regular Dalaran mages. Our boosters farm these mages in Alterac Mountains and Hillsbrad Foothills on their own accounts without your participation. You won’t have to wait your turn for those same mobs.

Can I Buy Black Tabby Cat While Offline?

You can remain offline throughout the entire farming process. We obtain the pet on our own characters and send it via mail to the name in your order. The letter with the item will be waiting for you when you log into the game. The operator will coordinate the trade delivery time with you in advance.

How to Get Black Tabby Cat

Dalaran mages drop the cat in World of Warcraft Forever. These mages live in Silverpine Forest, Alterac Mountains, and Hillsbrad Foothills, just like in Classic. Each of them drops the Cat Carrier:

Regular Dalaran mages drop the pet with a chance of around 0.2% in Classic. The rare Dalaran Spellscribe mob in Ambermill drops it with a 16.79% chance in Classic. But Forever maintains a single shared world for each rule set in the US and EU. That's why all players in the region share this mob with you.

Our team farms both the rare mob in Ambermill and the common mages in Alterac Mountains and Hillsbrad Foothills on our own characters instead of you. You won’t have to camp the Dalaran Spellscribe spawn against other players.

The game bound the Cat Carrier to your character upon use in Classic. Blizzard removed this binding in Forever, along with the Binds when used line in the item’s tooltip. This allows us to send the pet via mail or transfer it via trade to any of your characters. The Use effect in the Forever tooltip teaches you how to summon your feline companion.

Cat Carrier Lot on the Black Market

The Cat Carrier sometimes appears among Black Market Auction House lots at Madam Swyndle’s. Her auction house sits in the goblin town of Powderfuse Port in the east of Riverglades (type /way 78.1 51.9 in chat). A boat runs to this port from Steamwheedle Port in Tanaris.

The player with the highest bid receives the lot from Madam Swyndle. Bids from other participants in the shared world determine the lot’s price. Blizzard does not sell the WoW Token in Forever. That's why you must earn the gold for bidding through quests, farming, and professions.

Madam Swyndle changes the set of lots from time to time. The lot with the pet doesn’t always appear in the auction. We advise against spending the gold you save for Journeyman Riding on this lot. This training for a level 60 character costs 1,000 g.

Our team obtains the cat from Dalaran mages in your region, rule set, and faction without waiting for this lot or the auction. All your gold is available for riding training.
