How This Service Works

  1. Placing an Order

You choose the region, ruleset, and faction on the service page. The crafter delivers the items in your world, because Forever characters do not transfer between rulesets or factions. Quick checkout displays these fields on the same page.

  2. Payment

The Buy now button takes you to the payment method selection. Your ChaosBoost account balance covers up to 100% of the price. You’ll receive a personal 10% discount code after registration and can activate it with the Apply button in the promo code field.

  3. Crafting Reservation

ChaosBoost operators receive your order as soon as you pay. They begin the reservation within 5 minutes for most purchases and select a crafter with Dragonscale Leatherworking in your world. You won’t have to search for such a leatherworker yourself.

  4. Service Execution

A crafter from our team makes the Breastplate, Shoulders, and Leggings. They will send all three items to your character via mail or transfer them via trade at the time you agreed upon with the operator.

  5. Order Completion

The operator checks the order result with you. They verify the three items in your bags and both bonuses in the tooltip. You can leave a review on the ChaosBoost website after this check.

The operator closes the order after the crafter hands over all three items. Our team will re-craft the Breastplate, Shoulders, or Leggings for free if your character does not have one of them.

FAQ

Who Can Use Blue Dragonscale Set?

This mail set suits Elemental Shaman. Blizzard has divided the dragonscale sets in Forever by role and assigned the Blue one to casters in mail. The Arcane Resistance on each item also protects the shaman from Arcane magic. We consider this set the foundation of a level 55 shaman’s gear.

What Level Do You Need for Blue Dragonscale Set?

The full set requires a level 55 character due to the Leggings. Your shaman can equip the Breastplate at level 52 and the Shoulders at level 54. This allows them to receive the first set bonus even before the Leggings. The shaman wears all three items until the level 60 cap.

Is Blue Dragonscale Set Worth It in WoW Forever?

We believe it is worth the purchase for a shaman with an Elemental spec. The main benefit for the shaman comes from the three-piece bonus. It boosts both spell damage and healing on top of the Intellect and spell bonuses on each piece.

Do I Need Leatherworking Myself?

Your character does not need the Leatherworking profession. Our crafter with the appropriate specialization crafts all three items in a single order on ChaosBoost. There are no profession requirements in the tooltips for these items. Your shaman equips them just like any other mail armor.

Does the Set Include the Helm?

The new epic Blue Dragonscale Helm is not part of this set. Blizzard added it to Forever as a separate item that the shaman wears in the head slot alongside the Breastplate, Shoulders, and Leggings. The helm gives +18 Intellect and +1% hit. Its spell power bonus reaches +25.

Blue Dragonscale Set Rework for Casters

Blizzard has reworked Blue Dragon Mail in Forever for casters. The same three items were part of this set in Classic. Each item gets its own stats for Intellect, Arcane Resistance, and spell power in Forever:

  • Blue Dragonscale Breastplate - this 57 ilvl breastplate carries the most Intellect in the set (+28). It also gives +8 Arcane Resistance and up to +8 to spell damage and healing.
  • Blue Dragonscale Shoulders - these 59 ilvl shoulder pieces give +21 Intellect. Their Arcane Resistance and bonuses to spell damage and healing are identical (+6 each).
  • Blue Dragonscale Leggings - these 60 ilvl leggings have the strongest spell bonus in the set (up to +19). They also provide +20 Intellect and the highest Arcane Resistance of the three (+12).

We recommend taking the Breastplate, Shoulders, and Leggings together. Two pieces add +4 to all resistances. The full set unlocks a bonus of up to +28 to spell damage and healing, which is stronger than the bonus on any separate piece.

Blue Dragon Scales and Crafting Skill

A leatherworker who specializes in Dragonscale Leatherworking crafts the pieces from blue dragon scales. The recipes require a profession skill level between 260 and 300. Each piece is Bind on Equip (BoE). This binding allows you to buy Blue Dragonscale Set from our team with delivery via mail or trade. You won’t have to farm these scales yourself.

Elemental Shaman Mail in WoW Forever

A shaman with an Elemental spec plays as a caster in mail armor. Blue Dragon Mail gives this shaman chest, shoulder, and leg pieces that offer Intellect and a spell bonus. The other two sets focus on physical damage (Black) and healing (Green).

Blizzard has reduced the experience from dungeon mobs in World of Warcraft Forever. That's why shamans gain most of their levels through quests. We recommend that they wear this mail from level 55, because the spell damage bonus reduces the time you need to defeat each mob.
