Dal'Rend's Sacred Charge and Tribal Guardian
The set consists of two one-handed swords from a single boss. Dal'Rend's Tribal Guardian goes in the off hand alongside Sacred Charge in the main hand. Both swords drop from Warchief Rend with their own drop chances in each run. You won’t have to search for weapons for both hands in different dungeons. The combat profile of this pair in Classic included the following stats:
- Sacred Charge with 81-151 damage
- Tribal Guardian with 52-97 damage
- swing speed 2.80 for the main hand
- swing speed 1.80 for the off hand
- DPS 41.4 for each half
- item level 63 for both blades
Each half of the pair has its own role in combat. The slower Sacred Charge delivers heavy blows in the main hand. Fast Tribal Guardian makes more swings per fight in the off hand than a blade with a speed of 2.80 and the same DPS. This gives the character both a powerful strike and speed in a single pair.
Rend Blackhand Drops in UBRS
Warchief Rend drops both halves of the pair in Upper Blackrock Spire. This boss stands in the dungeon for level 59-60 characters. He rules the Dark Horde from there and comes out to the arena with his halberd Blackhand Doomsaw in hand. The drop rates for weapons from his loot in Classic were as follows:
- Sacred Charge with a 7.92% chance
- Tribal Guardian with a 13.12% chance
- Blackhand Doomsaw with an 8.77% chance
- Felstriker with a 1.86% chance
A full set requires more runs than a single sword. The main-hand blade remained the rarer half of the pair in Classic. Our team takes care of all those runs for you. You won’t have to gather a group of ten players for every trip into Upper Blackrock Spire and wait your turn for loot.
Best Classes for Dal'Rend's Arms
The set suits dual-wielding warriors, rogues, and hunters. Rogues valued the slow Sacred Charge in the main hand for a powerful hit with every Sinister Strike during a boss encounter. These two blades served as the BiS pair for fury warriors in Classic.
We recommend the full set for warriors and rogues. The set bonus in Classic required both swords in the character's hands. A hunter needs one Sacred Charge with its crit for shots. This allows him to achieve the desired critical strike rate with fewer runs.
