How Your Order Works

  1. Placing an Order

You choose the main options and extras for your character. The Quick checkout form on the service page asks you to specify the region, ruleset, and faction. Operators are available to help you choose the right order option if you need advice.
  2. Payment

The Buy now button opens the payment method selection screen. Your ChaosBoost account balance can cover up to 100% of this service's price. You'll receive a personal 10% discount code after registration and enter it in the promo code field before clicking Apply.
  3. Booking

Your order reaches ChaosBoost operators upon payment. One of them will in most cases begin the booking process within 5 minutes and coordinate the start time of each attempt with you. You can add any specific requests to your order.
  4. Service Execution

Our team invites your character to the raid before the run. You can watch the fight or participate in it according to the leader's instructions. The axe goes to your character through loot priority in the run where it drops from the boss.
  5. Order Completion

The operator closes the order after the last attempt in your series. You can check the results of each run with them and make sure you have all the extras. Leave a review of our team on the website if you'd like.

Each attempt includes killing Onyxia with your character in the raid. Our team will repeat the run for free if something from the order is missing (the boss or extras).

Frequently Asked Questions

Where Does Deathbringer Drop?

The axe drops from Onyxia in Onyxia's Lair in the southern part of Dustwallow Marsh. There are no other bosses in this 40-player raid. The weekly reset gives your character a new attempt at this axe. Our team joins the raid with you and gives you loot priority.

What Level Do You Need for Deathbringer?

A character can equip this axe at level 60. This threshold matches the level cap in World of Warcraft Forever. Blizzard designed Onyxia's Lair for players of that level. We recommend starting your attempts at the level cap so you can take the Epic weapon into fights on the day it drops.

What Does My Character Need?

Your character needs the Drakefire Amulet in their inventory. The game requires every raid member to have this amulet upon entering Onyxia's Lair. There is no need to equip it. You specify your character's region, ruleset, and faction when placing your order, because our team forms the raid in the same world.

How Does Loot Priority Work?

Loot priority gives the axe to your character on every drop from Onyxia. Warriors and shamans on our team will not contest it. You won't have to roll for it against other raid players. This service does not guarantee a drop, as the game sets the drop chance.

Deathbringer Stats and Shadow Bolt Proc

The axe is an Epic weapon with an ilvl of 75. BoP binding ties it to your character on pickup. Onyxia dropped it with an 8% chance in Classic per kill in a 40-player raid. This weapon provides no bonuses to Strength or Agility. That's why its stats in Classic fit into five lines of the tooltip:

  • One-hand axe
  • Damage 114–213
  • Speed 2.90
  • Shadow Bolt proc for 110–140 damage
  • Requires level 60

The 2.90 swing speed makes each swing heavy. We consider the slow main hand to be this weapon's strength because a critical hit on base damage of up to 213 deals a significant amount of damage to the boss in a single strike. The Shadow Bolt proc hits the target with shadow magic and bypasses its armor. This allows the axe to deal extra damage even against bosses.

Deathbringer in Onyxia Loot Table

The 8% chance in Classic makes the axe a rare Onyxia drop. That's why our team sells run attempts on weekly resets with loot priority. This service does not guarantee a drop. You can buy Deathbringer for the number of resets you need. We recommend a series of consecutive weeks because each Onyxia kill gives your character another roll.

Warrior BiS and Axe Users

Fury and Protection warriors included this axe in their Classic BiS lists. Orcs also received a +5 bonus to their Axe skill with this weapon from the Axe Specialization racial. Blizzard replaced this bonus in Forever with Savage. Savage gives a +1% critical strike chance on all spells and abilities. That's why we no longer associate this weapon with the warrior's race.

Other melee fighters who use axes also find a place for it in their gear. A hunter won't gain any Agility or critical strike chance from it. But it suits an Enhancement shaman or a paladin who wields a one-handed weapon alongside a shield. This fighter can deliver heavy main-hand strikes without sacrificing defense.
