Defilers Rep Rewards and Pauldrons
Blizzard has kept Defilers' Arathi Basin rep rewards in their classic form. Rewards range from a trinket at Friendly to epic gear at Exalted. The faction quartermaster unlocks them by rank:
- Defiler's Talisman at Friendly
- Belts at Honored
- Boots at Revered
- Defiler's Epaulets and other shoulder pieces at Exalted
- Deathguard's Cloak at Exalted
- Mindfang and Ironbark Staff at Exalted
Each Horde class receives access to its own epic shoulder pieces (such as Defiler's Chain Pauldrons) at Exalted. These 65 ilvl shoulder pieces require level 60 and form a set with a belt and boots of the same armor type. The two-piece set bonus is +5 Stamina. A complete set adds an additional 1% critical strike chance. We consider this set the best PvP starter gear at level 60 without raids or RNG.
Arathi Basin Vendor for Horde
The Defilers quartermaster serves the Horde in Arathi Highlands, north of Hammerfall. His trinkets, belts, and boots come in versions from level 28 to 58. That's why a Horde character can cover these gear slots while it is still leveling in Arathi Basin. You won't have to wait until level 60 to claim your first faction rewards.
15v15 matches in Arathi Basin for levels 20 to the cap grant Arathi Basin Mark of Honor along with reputation. A victory gives three such marks, while a defeat gives one. Your full blue honor set requires 45 Arathi Basin Marks. The most expensive item is the chest piece at 15 marks versus ten marks for the cloak, belt, or shoulders. We recommend spending your marks as you grind, since the stack holds up to 30.
Longest Horde BG Grind and Legacy Point
Defilers reputation takes the longest to grind among the Horde's four BG grinds. That's why our WoW Forever boost follows a weekly schedule in a premade group or with a pilot. Reaching Exalted completes the Master of Arathi Basin Legacy challenge. This challenge adds one point to the total Legacy progress for all characters on your account. That point brings you closer to the Legacy mount at the 55-point mark.
