How It Works

    The raid leader will send you a group invitation. You can watch the fights or participate at his command. Your character will claim the head with loot priority after the boss kill in our 40-player raid.

  5. Order Completion

    Bolvar (Alliance) or Thrall (Horde) will take the head from you. Signet will appear in your bags after you select one reward out of three in the quest window. You can leave a review of the run on the ChaosBoost website.

    The operator closes the order once Signet is in your inventory. Our team will rerun the raid for free with a new boss kill if the ring or any extras from your order are missing.

Where Does Dragonslayer's Signet Drop?

Signet is a reward for turning in Onyxia's head. Onyxia's Lair has one boss that drops one head per kill in a 40-player raid. Your character takes it with loot priority in our group. You turn in the head to Bolvar for the Alliance or Thrall for the Horde.

What Level Do You Need for Dragonslayer's Signet?

The ring order requires a level 60 character. Signet's tooltip does not specify a level requirement. But your character receives the quest head in a level 60 raid. Blizzard designed Onyxia's Lair for a group of 40 players at the Forever leveling cap.

Do I Need the Drakefire Amulet?

Your character needs the Drakefire Amulet to enter Onyxia's Lair. The game checks for this amulet in the bags of all 40 players in the raid and does not require you to equip it. Blizzard has created different quest chains for the Alliance and the Horde to obtain it. We recommend checking your bags before payment so the run starts on time.

Do I Have to Play During the Raid?

Your character must be in our raid for the boss kill. Another player cannot transfer the head to you due to the BoP binding. You can watch the fights or participate in them at the leader's command from the first pull until the end of the fight. He will send instructions via Discord upon your request.

Dragonslayer's Signet Stats and Fire Resistance

Signet combines stats for casters with a bonus to Fire Resistance. It takes the Finger slot and is BoP. Its tooltip in Forever contains seven lines:

  • Item Level 65
  • Stamina +11
  • Intellect +11
  • Fire Resistance +6
  • Crit Chance +1%
  • Spell Damage and Healing up to +7
  • Unique-Equipped

The Classic version of Signet with item level 74 gave +12 Stamina and Intellect each. It also provided +6 Spirit and +10 Fire Resistance without a bonus to spell damage. Blizzard removed Spirit from the ring and added +7 to spell damage and healing. This gives casters an increase in damage and healing instead of Spirit. Even the +6 Fire Resistance bonus will come in handy in Onyxia's Lair, since Blizzard advises raiders to boost their fire resistance before the fight.

Head of Onyxia Ring for Casters

Players receive the ring for casters when they turn in Onyxia's head to Bolvar or Thrall. The BoP binding on both items requires your character to loot the head. Onyxia drops one such head per kill. Our raid will give it to your character with priority over the other members of the 40-player group. You won't have to wait your turn for it in your guild.

Mage and Warlock BiS Ring Choice

We consider this ring the BiS choice for mages and warlocks among the three head rewards. It gives these classes Intellect, crit, and spell damage. These stats work in every World of Warcraft Forever raid, from Barrow Deeps (10-player) to Onyxia's Lair (40-player). Every Frostbolt and Shadow Bolt receives a damage bonus from Signet.

The other two head rewards suit different roles. Onyxia Tooth Pendant is a necklace for melee classes and hunters. Tanks equip Onyxia Blood Talisman in their Trinket slot. That's why we recommend that mages and warlocks choose the ring from the head reward window at Bolvar or Thrall.
