How It Works

  1. Placing an Order

You select the region, ruleset, and faction on the product page. Quick checkout opens a form on the same page and asks for your character's name for delivery. Operators will help you choose the options based on your request.
  2. Paying for Your Order

The “Buy now” button opens a window for selecting a payment method. Your ChaosBoost account balance covers up to 100% of the order price. You'll receive a personal 10% discount code after registration; enter it in the promo code field and click “Apply.”
  3. Order Booking

Operators begin booking your order within 5 minutes of payment in most cases. They'll coordinate the item delivery time with you. An operator will contact you if any information is missing from your order.
  4. Delivery of the Gloves

Our team will mail Edgemaster's to your character. Trading in-game gives you a second delivery option. ChaosBoost guarantees that the character from the Quick checkout form will receive the gloves via either delivery method.
  5. Order Completion

You verify the gloves in-game together with a ChaosBoost operator. This allows you to see the order's outcome before the operator closes it. You can leave a delivery review on the website after this verification or at a later date.

The operator closes the order once Edgemaster's and all extras are in the character's inventory. Our team will redeliver the items free of charge if any of these items are missing.

FAQ

What Level Do You Need for Edgemaster's Handguards?

The Classic version of Edgemaster's requires level 44 to equip. BoE binding allows our team to mail them to a character of any level. The item's tooltip in-game shows the minimum level for the Forever version. We recommend checking this number against your character's level before you place an order.

Is Edgemaster's Handguards Worth It in WoW Forever?

We consider these gloves a worthwhile purchase for Warriors and Paladins who use one-handed Axes or Swords. Blizzard has reduced Edgemaster's skill bonus along with all similar items. Weapon skill itself works in combat just as it did in Classic and reduces misses and the glancing blow penalty against Forever raid bosses. That's why the gloves' smaller bonus still increases your damage.

Which Classes Can Use These Gloves?

The gloves suit two classes: Warrior and Paladin. Warriors benefit from all three bonuses because they use Axes, Daggers, and Swords. Paladins use Edgemaster's for one-handed Axes and Swords. Both classes wear mail armor from level 1.

Can the Gloves Go to an Alt?

You can send the gloves to another character of yours before you equip them for the first time. In-game mail works within the same region, ruleset, and faction. We recommend specifying in your order the main character who will wear Edgemaster's in Forever raids and dungeons. This will save you from having to resend them via in-game mail.

Edgemaster's Handguards Stats in Classic

The epic mail gloves in WoW Classic gave a +7 bonus to the Axes, Daggers, and Swords skills. Warriors and Paladins wore them for this bonus while they leveled past level 44. They continued to use the same pair in raids at level 60. This allowed them to miss fewer attacks against higher-level enemies. The tooltip for the Classic version contains six main lines:

  • Item Level 49
  • Minimum Level 44
  • Armor 201
  • Axes Skill +7
  • Daggers Skill +7
  • Swords Skill +7

The gloves' bonus worked with one-handed weapons of these three types. Two-handed Axes and Swords relied on separate skills in Classic. Edgemaster's did not add a single point to them. Humans and Orcs received a +5 racial bonus to either Swords or Axes. That's why Edgemaster's was most beneficial to the other races.

Weapon Skill Changes From WoW Classic

Blizzard has reduced the skill bonus on every item that provided it in Classic. Humans, Orcs, and Dwarves have lost their racial weapon skill bonus. They now receive a 1–2% increase to critical strike chance with weapons of their specialization instead. This means you can choose your race without reliance on the Swords or Axes skill.

The stat overhaul has combined hit and crit for spells, melee, and ranged attacks. You won't have to stack separate hit for spells and weapons. Another change added the “Reduces chance to be Dodged or Parried” effect to seven items. Dwarven Tree Chopper reduces this chance by 0.6%.

Demand for Edgemaster's remains strong due to the memory of the +7 bonus from Classic. Many players remember them as a must-have purchase for Warriors. The in-game tooltip for the gloves shows how much skill they have left after Blizzard's adjustments. We recommend comparing this number with your current gloves and the hit on your gear. This allows you to assess the value of Edgemaster's before you place an order with ChaosBoost.

Where Do Edgemaster's Handguards Drop

The gloves are a world drop (BoE) with no link to any specific boss. They dropped in Classic from level 44–51 mobs in the open world and in dungeons across the Eastern Kingdoms and Kalimdor. The drop rate in Classic was around 0.01% per mob. Our team handles this farming for you. You won't have to spend your evenings grinding mobs for a single rare drop.
