FAQAll 23 Eastern Kingdoms Zones
The continent map in World of Warcraft Forever consists of 23 zones. Players are familiar with 22 of them from the original WoW. Our pilot will reveal the map for each of these zones on your character in a single session, from the starting zones Elwynn Forest and Dun Morogh all the way to Eastern Plaguelands. You won’t have to spend your evenings traveling across the entire continent.
The new Riverglades zone is a frontier of rivers, plains, and trade routes between Redridge Mountains and Burning Steppes. This zone suits characters of levels 36-44. Blizzard has added over 150 new quests there. We divide all 23 zones into three groups by the lower level limit:
- Up to level 30:
- Elwynn Forest 1-10
- Dun Morogh from level 1
- Tirisfal Glades 1-12
- Westfall 9-18
- Loch Modan 10-18
- Silverpine Forest 10-20
- Duskwood 10-30
- Redridge Mountains 15-25
- Wetlands 20-30
- Hillsbrad Foothills 20-31
- Alterac Mountains 27-39
- Levels 30-45:
- Arathi Highlands 30-40
- Stranglethorn Vale 30-50
- Badlands 36-45
- Swamp of Sorrows 36-43
- Riverglades 36-44
- The Hinterlands 41-56
- Searing Gorge 43-56
- Above level 45:
- Blasted Lands (level 46 and up)
- Western Plaguelands 46-57
- Burning Steppes 50-59
- Deadwind Pass 50-60
- Eastern Plaguelands 54-59
The game tracks progress across all 23 zones for a single character. Zone-specific Explore achievements do not grant Legacy points on their own. Your account receives one Legacy point for the Explorer challenge when the same character also reveals the maps for all zones in Kalimdor. You can spend this point on perks in the Professions, Adventure, and Resourcefulness trees.
Eastern Kingdoms Map Route
Our route across the continent suits characters of any level. You won’t need to level up before the order for this achievement. A mount speeds up travel between zones. But the zones in the final group are dangerous for low-level characters, as their level ranges from 46 in Blasted Lands to 60 in Deadwind Pass. The route on the PvP ruleset also passes through the territory of the opposing faction.
This boost suits players who have already explored Kalimdor on the same character or are tackling the continents one section at a time. These players will find the Steamwheedle boat from Steamwheedle Port in Tanaris to Powderfuse Port in Riverglades useful. Another route to Riverglades goes overland from Redridge Mountains.
Eastern Kingdoms Flight Paths Option
The “+ all flight paths” option unlocks all of your faction’s flight points. Our pilot picks them up along the same route. You won’t have to search for every flight master in 23 zones yourself.
There are no flying mounts in this version of the game. That's why we recommend that every character with ten points in the Adventure tree take the Frequent Flier perk at rank one. Frequent Flier reduces the cost of each flight by 50%. It also increases the flight mount’s speed by 20%. This allows you to save gold on every flight across the continent.
