Felstriker Proc in WoW Forever
The dagger’s proc gave all attacks a hit and a crit for 3 seconds in Classic. This effect triggered from the blade’s own strikes. It turned both white hits and class abilities into crits. This gave the character 3 seconds of damage without a single miss. The Epic weapon had item level 63 and no stats in Classic.
Blizzard combined spell, melee, and ranged hit into a single stat in Forever. The game consolidated critical strike in the same way. We believe these changes may have also affected the dagger’s proc. The proc is the main reason for farming this stat-less blade.
Rend Blackhand Loot in Upper Blackrock Spire
Warchief Rend drops four weapons for melee classes in UBRS. The dagger had a 1.9% drop chance per kill in Classic. It is the rarest item in this boss’s loot. The other three weapons had the following drop rates in Classic:
- Dal'Rend's Sacred Charge - 7.9%
- Dal'Rend's Tribal Guardian - 13%
- Blackhand Doomsaw - 8.8%
Two of the swords from this loot form the Dal'Rend's Arms set. The set gives a +50 AP bonus when you equip both pieces in the main hand and off-hand. That’s why Rogues and Warriors farm Rend both for the dagger and for this set. Our team does runs for UBRS loot from this boss on your character. You won’t have to assemble a group of up to ten players for every kill.
Best Classes for Felstriker
We consider Rogue and Warrior to be the best classes for this dagger. Both wield a weapon in each hand. Players of these classes equipped it in the off-hand back in Classic. The 1.70 attack speed gives the off-hand blade more hits per boss encounter and more chances at 3 seconds of crits. We don’t recommend it for spellcasters because the dagger has no stats that benefit spells.
