Green Dragonscale Set Rework for Healers
Blizzard has reworked the Green Dragon Mail set in World of Warcraft Forever for healers. Its composition remains the same as in Classic. But each blue piece (ilvl 52-56) in Forever now provides a healing bonus in addition to the old Stamina and Nature Resistance stats. You won’t have to choose between healing and Nature Resistance. The healing bonus increases from one piece to the next:
- Green Dragonscale Breastplate gives +10 to healing
- Green Dragonscale Leggings raise the bonus to +22
- Green Dragonscale Gauntlets give the largest bonus of +40 to healing
The two-piece bonus restores 3 mana every 5 seconds. A full set keeps 15% of your mana regeneration while you cast spells. We consider this 15% to be the main reason to collect all three pieces, since healers spend most of the fight casting spells. This bonus allows you to heal the group longer without pausing to regenerate mana.
Green Scales for Dragonscale Leatherworking
A leatherworker with Dragonscale Leatherworking specialization crafts all three pieces from green dragon scales. Blizzard has lowered the skill requirement for the Breastplate and Leggings to 235 and 245 in Forever. Classic required 260 and 270 for these items. Both Classic and Forever require a skill level of 280 for the Gauntlets. Our leatherworker crafts these BoE items for you and delivers them via mail or trade to your region.
Resto Shaman Gear in WoW Forever
Green Dragon Mail in Forever is gear for Resto Shaman (a healer in mail armor). Each piece gives both a healing bonus and spell damage of up to +21. Players level up from 47 to 60 through quests because Blizzard has reduced the experience from dungeon mobs. We recommend wearing this set on quests as well for the spell damage. You won’t need to carry spare gear in your bag for solo fights.
The Blue and Black Dragonscale sets cater to other roles (casters and physical damage dealers). That's why a caster shaman or a melee shaman should choose them over the healer set. We consider it a mistake to mix Dragonscale colors on a healer, because the set bonuses require two or three pieces of the same set.
