Hand of Justice Stats and Extra Attack
HoJ occupies your trinket slot. This item gives two bonuses for melee fights. The chance for an extra attack made HoJ the main choice for melee classes at level 60 in Classic. This allows you to deal more damage in every fight. The item’s tooltip displays five properties:
- Binds when picked up
- Unique
- Requires level 53
- +20 Attack Power
- 2% chance for an extra attack on hit
An extra attack is an additional weapon strike beyond the base attack speed. The game rolls a 2% chance on every hit in combat. That’s why a player who dual-wields fast weapons gets more procs per fight from HoJ than one who wields a single two-handed weapon.
Where Does Hand of Justice Drop
HoJ drops from Dagran Thaurissan in Blackrock Depths (BRD). He is the final boss of a dungeon with 25 bosses and two rare mobs. The game binds HoJ (BoP) to the player who picks it up from the loot. Your character must be in the party at the moment of the kill. There are three main factors in the BRD farm:
- A group of five players
- A run to the boss in about an hour
- A dungeon without a lockout
That’s why our team starts the next run after each Thaurissan kill. Runs proceed one after another until the item drops or until the last attempt in the order. You won’t have to search for four players in chat and wait for them at the dungeon entrance.
Best Classes for Hand of Justice
We consider HoJ a must-have item for Warriors and Rogues at level 60. These classes’ damage relies on weapon strikes. Every HoJ proc grants them an additional attack at no rage or energy cost during any dungeon or raid boss encounter.
HoJ suits other melee fighters for the same reason. We recommend that all melee players buy Hand of Justice at level 53. The item works both on the way to 60 and in dungeons after that. Casters and healers do not benefit from the extra attack.
