Hand of Righteousness Healing Mace Stats
This blue (rare) mace gives up to +94 to healing in Forever. Every healing bonus also adds a third of its value as spell damage according to the game’s rules. So the mace provides up to +31 to spell damage. This allows a single mace to boost both healing and spell damage. Its stats also include +7 Stamina and +8 Spirit.
The mace’s melee damage is 37–70 at a speed of 2.70. Its Classic version dealt 56–105 damage and gave up to +15 to healing. Rogues and warriors used to compete with healers for it because of the 105 top-end damage. We believe that healers in Forever have fewer competitors for this mace because its melee damage is now lower than in Classic.
Where Hand of Righteousness Drops
The mace drops from High Inquisitor Whitemane in the final fight of Cathedral. This is the last of the four wings of Scarlet Monastery in the northeast of Tirisfal Glades. Cathedral’s level range in Forever is 38–46. The drop rate for the mace was 18% per kill in Classic. We recommend ordering multiple attempts, because a single kill of Whitemane does not guarantee a drop.
Blizzard has set four entry rules for Cathedral in World of Warcraft Forever:
- A party of up to five players instead of ten
- No lockout between runs
- Scarlet Key from Doan's Strongbox to open the door
- Lockpicking 175 instead of a key
The same boss also drops Whitemane's Chapeau for the head slot. Blizzard has reworked this hat in Forever for healers. That's why every Whitemane kill in your attempts gives a healer a chance at two items that suit their role. You won’t have to schedule separate runs just for the hat.
Best Classes for Hand of Righteousness
All four healer classes in Forever can equip this mace. Paladins and shamans pair it with a shield. We believe Holy Paladin and Restoration Shaman benefit the most from this mace, since one-handed weapons with a shield form the foundation of their healing. Druids and priests equip an off-hand item alongside it. That's why the order suits a character of any healer class.
