How Your Order Works

  1. Placing an Order

You choose your character's region, ruleset, and faction in the service options. Quick checkout opens the order form on the same page and asks for details to start the run. Operators will help you choose options based on your request.
  2. Payment

The Buy now button opens the payment method selection. You can cover up to 100% of the price with your ChaosBoost account balance. Registration gives you a personal 10% discount code, which you enter in the promo code field and apply by clicking Apply.
  3. Booking

Operators begin the booking process within 5 minutes in most cases. They'll secure a spot for you in a 40-player raid where Rank 1 boosters play. The operators will also coordinate the start time with you and contact you if any information is missing.
  4. Service Execution

The run begins with an invitation to join our raid group. You can watch the boss encounter or participate in it. Your character loots the boss's head after the kill and carries it to the quest NPC in your faction's capital city.
  5. Order Completion

The operator checks the run's results with you. They close the order once your character has turned in the head and claimed one of the three rewards. You can then leave a review on the website.

Turning in the quest to the NPC completes the service. Our team will repeat the run for free if anything from the order is missing: the boss, the head for your character, or a reward.

FAQ

Who Can Use Head of Onyxia?

Any level 60 Alliance or Horde character can turn in the head. BoP binds it to the player who picked up the item. The three quest rewards cover all raid roles, from melee to tanks. This makes the order useful for any class.

Where Does Head of Onyxia Drop?

The head drops from Onyxia in Onyxia's Lair, where there are no other bosses. Her lair lies in Wyrmbog in the south of Dustwallow Marsh on the eastern coast of Kalimdor. Our team organizes a full 40-player raid there. You won't have to find a raid on your own.

What Level Do You Need for Head of Onyxia?

Your character needs to be level 60 for both the head and its quest. Blizzard designed Onyxia's Lair as a raid for max-level players. Your character spends most of the journey to level 60 doing quests because Blizzard has reduced the experience from dungeon mobs in Forever.

Do I Need the Drakefire Amulet?

Every raid member must have the Drakefire Amulet in their bags. You don't have to wear the amulet around your neck. Your character receives it at the end of a long attunement chain. This chain leads to General Drakkisath in Upper Blackrock Spire for both the Alliance and the Horde.

Why Do Region and Ruleset Matter?

Our raid and your character must be in the same region, ruleset, and faction. There are no realms in World of Warcraft Forever. The US (together with Oceania) and EU regions each have one shared world per ruleset from Normal to Hardcore. Faction is important because the Alliance and the Horde do not raid together.

Head of Onyxia Quest Rewards

The head starts a short quest chain with a choice of rewards. This quest offers three epic items with an ilvl of 65. Each item has stats for a specific raid role. Fire Resistance on these items ranges from +6 on a ring for caster classes to +20 on a trinket for tanks. Your character chooses one reward upon completing the quest:

  • Onyxia Tooth Pendant - This neckpiece gives melee classes and Hunters +7 Agility and +8 Stamina. It also has +10 Fire Resistance and 1% each to hit and crit.
  • Dragonslayer's Signet - Caster classes choose this ring for 1% crit and +7 Spell Power. This Unique-Equipped ring also gives +11 Stamina and Intellect each, as well as +6 Fire Resistance.
  • Onyxia Blood Talisman - This trinket's Use effect reduces damage from Dragon Breath by 33% for 15 seconds. Tanks also gain 9 HP5 and +20 Fire Resistance from this Unique-Equipped trinket.

We consider these three items the main reason to buy Head of Onyxia in Forever. The quest lets you choose one reward from a list. That's why we advise hybrid classes to take the item that matches the spec in which the character spends most of their raid nights. This allows you to equip the reward in every raid.

Onyxia Head Quest for Alliance and Horde

The Horde turns in the head to Thrall in Orgrimmar via the Victory for the Horde quest. Alliance players take their version to Stormwind, where Bolvar accepts the quest. The boss drops one such head (with BoP and Unique status) per kill for the entire raid. Our 40-player raid will give it to your character. You won't have to fight for it in a roll.

Rallying Cry of the Dragonslayer Buff

Handing in the head triggers a world buff for all characters in Orgrimmar or Stormwind at that moment. Players refer to it as Onyxia buff. This buff grants a 10% critical strike chance for spells and attacks for 2 hours. It also adds +140 AP and up to +80 to spell damage and healing. But Blizzard has disabled its effect inside raid instances.
