Hide of the Wild Stats and Spell Damage

This cloak gives you stats from Classic and a new bonus to spell damage. Blizzard added this bonus to the tooltip in World of Warcraft Forever. The new tooltip contains six values:

  • Stamina +8
  • Intellect +10
  • Healing up to +42
  • Spell damage up to +14
  • Item level 62
  • Minimum level 57

The Forever rule for stats links two spell bonuses. Each healing bonus also gives a third of its value as spell damage. This rule results in +14 spell damage for the item with +42 healing. Blizzard showcased it at BlizzCon as an example of this mechanic. This allows you to deal more damage during quests and travels across the world.

Hide of the Wild Recipe in Tribal Leatherworking

A leatherworker learns the recipe at skill 300. Classic also required the Tribal specialization. An Elemental or Dragonscale master could not learn this recipe. Our crafter with this specialization will save you the trouble of finding a leatherworker.
