Humar the Pridelord Rare Elite Lion
WoW Forever Humar the Pridelord is a Rare Elite lion from the Cat family. Blizzard has ported this beast to World of Warcraft Forever with the same level 23 and tooltip as in Classic. Savannah Patriarch and Savannah Highmane share the same model with him. Your character receives this lion as it was in Classic.
Tame Beast in Forever follows the rules from Classic. This spell cannot tame a beast higher than the hunter’s level. That's why the hunter must be level 23 or higher to tame this lion. We recommend this order to hunters who are collecting rare hunter pets and don’t want to spend their evenings camping in The Barrens.
Where Humar Spawns in the Barrens
Humar appears in The Barrens near coordinates 62, 34. Our booster will wait for Humar the Pridelord spawn at this location either on your character in pilot mode or as part of your party. You don’t need to sit in front of the screen and camp the lion yourself. The beast’s respawn rate and competition for rare hunter pets determine how long the camping session will last.
Mark of the Pack Leader Drop
Mark of the Pack Leader drops from Humar upon defeat. A character can equip this BoP amulet (ilvl 25) from level 20. It gives its wearer +5 Strength and +5 Intellect. The amulet is part of the Blessing of Kalimdor set, along with Signet of the Zhevra (drop from Swiftmane) and Raptor Hide Cloak (drop from Takk the Leaper).
Two items from the Blessing of Kalimdor set give +5% movement speed in The Barrens and Stonetalon Mountains. This allows you to spend less time traveling through these two zones.
The amulet was not available as loot from Humar in the Classic version. Tame Beast also does not grant your character this amulet. A single lion spawn in The Barrens will give you either a new pet or this amulet as loot.
