What We Know About WoW Forever Legendary

Blizzard has tied the legendary reward of World of Warcraft Forever to raids. The quest chain for this reward goes through the Hyjal Summit raid. A group of 20 players battles 13 bosses in this raid to earn new tier sets. This allows you to complete a quest chain step and farm tier sets in a single run.

The path to WoW Forever legendary in this quest chain combines a raid, rituals, and solo encounters. Blizzard has added the Cenarion Circle (Legendary Event) faction for the chain. We call this quest chain the longest task for a level 60 character because its stages take place in Moonglade, Un'Goro, and on Mount Hyjal.

How to Get Branch of Nordrassil

Players receive and enhance the World Tree branch as part of their WoW Forever legendary quest chain. The steps in this chain take your character to a raid, to zones in Kalimdor, and to single-player maps. Your path to the reward includes the following stages of the chain:

  • Stormwraith's power from the boss Sylvestris Dusksong
  • Ritual at the Moonwell in Moonglade
  • Pylon puzzle in Un'Goro
  • Six vessels for the Bough of the World Tree
  • Solo encounters on the Archimonde's Fall map
  • Tests for six crafting professions

We consider the Hyjal Summit raid to be the main hurdle in the chain. Our team runs this raid alongside your character. The run goes from the first pull all the way to defeating Sylvestris Dusksong and Stormwraith. You won't have to search for 20 players or spend your evenings wiping.

Thunderfury and Classic Legendaries in Forever

Famous WoW Classic legendaries are in the Forever client data. Among them are the blade from Garr and Baron Geddon, Sulfuras from Ragnaros, and Atiesh from Naxxramas. Players in Forever will not receive any of these items. Blizzard has not added the Molten Core and Naxxramas raids to the game. That's why the new Hyjal Summit reward takes the place of these items.
