Linken's Sword of Mastery and Other Rewards
The final quest It's Dangerous to Go Alone grants the player two out of three rewards. One of them is your choice (either Linken's sword or the off-hand Spirit of Aquementas). The second reward (the trinket Linken's Boomerang) always goes to the player. This allows you to choose either the sword or the off-hand item without losing the boomerang.
The sword is a Main Hand Sword with an ilvl of 56. It attacks at a speed of 1.80 and deals 46-87 damage. Its Chance on hit proc adds 74-123 Nature damage to a hit. We recommend the sword for melee classes because this proc triggers from auto-attacks and ability strikes against a target in melee combat.
The off-hand Spirit of Aquementas occupies the Held In Off-hand slot. It gives up to +21 to spell damage and healing. This bonus is useful for both spellcasters and healers. The same off-hand item in Classic gives up to +20.
Linken's Boomerang is the one trinket among the final rewards. Its Use effect deals 113-187 physical damage to a target once every 3 minutes. The throw can stun the enemy for 2 seconds or disarm them for 10 seconds. This gives the player another attack in the fight with a chance to CC the target. All three items are Bind on Pickup (BoP).
Linken Quest Chain in Un'Goro Crater
The Linken chain in World of Warcraft Forever consists of 13 quests. Their level ranges from 52 to 56. The gnome hands out and accepts the main quests at Marshal's Refuge. All other stages take the character from the crater to Winterspring and Felwood in northern Kalimdor, and to Feralas and Tanaris in the south of the continent. The chain culminates in a fight against elite Blazerunner on Fire Plume Ridge.
All 13 quests in the chain have carried over to Forever unchanged, along with the level 47 requirement. But Blizzard has increased the damage of Linken's sword and the strength of its effect. The Classic version of the blade deals 42-78 damage and procs for 45-75 Nature damage, with the same attack speed in the Main Hand slot. Melee classes receive a more powerful weapon from this chain than in Classic.
Our booster clears all stages of the chain for both Alliance and Horde in piloted mode, from the discovery of A Small Pack to the final quest. You won't have to run back and forth between Winterspring and Tanaris to claim the final rewards.
