What You Receive

How This Service Works

  1. Placing an Order

You choose the wand and order format in the service options. Quick checkout opens a form on the service page and asks for your character’s region, ruleset, and faction. Operators will help you choose between self-play and a pilot.
  2. Payment

Your account receives a personal 10% discount code upon registration. Enter this code in the promo code field and click Apply. The Buy now button opens the payment method selection screen, where your ChaosBoost account balance covers up to 100% of the price.
  3. Booking

ChaosBoost operators receive your order upon payment. They start most bookings within 5 minutes and assemble a team for the SM Library or assign a pilot. The operator will coordinate the start time with you.
  4. Service Execution

The leader of the Rank 1 booster group sends you an invitation. Self-play guides you with our team through the SM Library. The pilot clears all six quests on your character, from Journey to the Marsh to Mage's Wand.
  5. Order Completion

You verify the results of the boost with the ChaosBoost operator. They check the quest log and your character’s inventory before they close the order. You can leave a review of this boost on the website.

The service concludes with the reward in your character’s bag. Our team will repeat the run free of charge if anything from the order is missing (the Rituals of Power book or a step in the chain).

Requirements

The Tabetha chain and our order have the following requirements for your character and account:

  • Mage class character
  • Character level 30 or higher
  • Active WoW subscription
  • The Rituals of Power quest in the quest log (for self-play)
  • Account access (for the pilot)

Please contact an operator before payment if your mage does not meet one of the requirements.

FAQ

What Does Mage Wand Quest Reward?

The final quest in the chain gives you one wand of your choice. Tabetha offers three options: the Icefury Wand for Frost, the Ragefire Wand for Fire, and the Nether Force Wand for Arcane. You receive this WoW Forever mage wand without a loot roll. Select your option on the service page.

Where Does Mage Wand Quest Start?

The Journey to the Marsh quest from the mage trainer starts the chain. Jennea Cannon (Stormwind) and Bink (Ironforge) give it to Alliance mages. Horde players can get it from Deino in Orgrimmar, Ursyn Ghull in Thunder Bluff, or Anastasia Hartwell in Undercity. The destination for this quest is Tabetha’s hut in Dustwallow Marsh.

What Level Do You Need for Mage Wand Quest?

You can start the chain and complete each step from level 30. Blizzard has reduced the experience from dungeon mobs in Forever. That's why the experience from this chain is important for leveling up to level 40. We recommend starting the chain at level 30.

Can I Play During the Boost?

You can play yourself in self-play mode. This mode allows you to control your character during the run through the SM Library. The group leader will send instructions for fights on Discord upon your request. Pilot mode suits players who don’t have enough evenings to travel between Dustwallow Marsh, Arathi Highlands, and Thousand Needles.

Mage Wand Quest Chain With Tabetha

The Tabetha chain consists of mage class quests for levels 30–40. Mages of both factions undertake it for a choice of rewards. Blizzard has kept all six of its quests in World of Warcraft Forever the same as in Classic. The path to the reward goes through the following quests:

The book Rituals of Power lies in the Library wing of the Scarlet Monastery. Our self-play group will run through this wing alongside your character. You’ll take the book and deliver it to Tabetha yourself. You won’t need to gather a party for this run. Another option is to have a pilot run the entire chain.

Icefury Ragefire or Nether Force Wand

Every WoW Forever mage wand from this chain has an ilvl of 40. A mage can equip it as early as level 30. All three variants share a BoP binding and a +3 Intellect bonus. The damage per second for each of them hovers around 37. This allows you to choose a reward in the order option based on your talent tree without a loss in damage.

The +9 bonus to damage for spells of its school is the main difference between the options. Icefury Wand with 41–78 Frost damage suits a Frost mage. Its speed of 1.60 makes it the slowest of the three. But each shot deals more damage than the Ragefire Wand’s.

We recommend the Ragefire Wand with a speed of 1.40 for Fire mages. This weapon’s Fire damage is lower, from 36 to 68 per shot. The Nether Force Wand with 39–73 Arcane damage suits Arcane mages. This weapon with a speed of 1.50 falls right in the middle between the other two. The tooltips for all three options match those in Classic, because Blizzard did not change these items when it ported them to Forever.

WoW Classic Mage Quests in Forever

Blizzard has ported most WoW Classic mage quests to Forever without changes. The level 60 Warlord Krellian quest and the Return to the Marsh chain from Tabetha that opens at level 35 are also unchanged. Our boost does not include this chain for the Celestial Orb or Celestial Stave. The level 52 Destroy Morphaz quest has received new rewards in Forever. There are no other changes to class quests from Classic.

Blizzard has unlocked the Mage class for Horde orcs in Forever. High Order Skyborne characters in the Alliance have also gained access to this class. An orc mage takes Glyphic Parchment to Mai'ah in the Valley of Trials at level 1. A High Order Skyborne mage begins Boughs in the Wind with Belann Windwood in Valanaar at level 10. The reward for this quest is the Windbough Wand.
