    The run in Onyxia's Lair begins with a group invite from the leader and ends with the kill of Onyxia. You can watch the fight or participate in it. Our team will give your character the quest dragon head with loot priority.

  5. Order Completion

    Your character turns in the dragon head in Stormwind or Orgrimmar. You choose a tank trinket from the three epic rewards of the second quest in the chain. The BoP binding ties this item to your character.

    The operator closes the order after you turn in the second quest. Our team will repeat the run for free if your character is missing the dragon head or extras.

Where Does Onyxia Blood Talisman Drop?

You receive the talisman as a reward for a two-quest chain. Onyxia drops the dragon head for the first quest in her lair in Dustwallow Marsh. The Alliance completes the quest chain with Celebrating Good Times in Stormwind. Horde characters claim the reward from For All To See in Orgrimmar.

What Level Do You Need for Onyxia Blood Talisman?

Your character must be level 60 to undertake the quests for the talisman. The talisman itself does not have a level requirement in its tooltip. Your quest item (the dragon's head) requires level 60 to start the first quest in your faction's capital city. This level requirement matches the level cap in World of Warcraft Forever.

Do I Need the Drakefire Amulet?

Your character cannot enter Onyxia's Lair without the Drakefire Amulet in their inventory. The amulet comes as a reward for your faction's attunement quest chain. We recommend checking your inventory for it before you pay for the order. You won't have to reschedule the run at the last minute.

Can I Order for Any Faction?

You can buy Onyxia Blood Talisman for an Alliance or Horde character. Each Forever region (US together with Oceania or EU) has a single shared world without separate realms for each rule set from Normal to Hardcore. Characters do not switch between rule sets or factions. That's why our team assembles the raid in your world and on your faction's side.

Can Two Players Share One Kill?

A single Onyxia kill gives the talisman to one player. The boss drops one quest head for the entire raid. That's why the operators will book another run for the second player and coordinate the start time with them. The BoP binding prevents you from transferring the trinket to a friend after you select the reward.

Onyxia Blood Talisman Stats and Use Effect

The talisman's tooltip in Forever shows ilvl 65, Epic quality, and four stats:

The Classic Era version of the talisman had a different set of stats. That trinket came with an ilvl of 74 and bonuses to parry and Defense. It did not have a Use effect against Dragon Breath.

Blizzard increased the health regeneration in Forever from 7 to 9 points. The Fire Resistance bonus increased from +15 to +20. This gives tanks in Forever more protection against fire.

Blood of the Broodmother reduces magic damage from Dragon Breath spells on your character by 33%. The effect lasts 15 seconds with a 5-minute cooldown. Unique-Equipped prevents you from equipping a second copy of this item in another trinket slot.

Head of Onyxia Trinket for Tanks

The talisman is a tank trinket from the rewards of the dragon head quest chain. Onyxia drops one such head per kill. Your character carries the trophy to Highlord Bolvar Fordragon in Stormwind or to Thrall in Orgrimmar. The next quest takes you to Major Mattingly or Overlord Runthak in the same city, where you can choose one of three BoP epic rewards. Two other items (Onyxia Tooth Pendant and Dragonslayer's Signet) suit melee, hunters, and casters.

Prot Warrior BiS and Other Tanks

We consider this talisman the BiS trinket for a Protection Warrior in dragon fights. The +20 Fire Resistance and its Use effect reduce damage from fire and Dragon Breath. This allows the warrior to lose less health in such fights. The version from Forever lost the bonuses to parry and Defense. That's why we recommend that Warriors use a trinket with Stamina for other types of fights.

Paladins and Druids who act as tanks receive the same Fire Resistance and health regeneration. The tooltip does not restrict the item to specific classes. We recommend that hybrid classes use this talisman for fights with fire damage.
