Tier 2 Helms by Class
Tier 2 helmets vary by class and armor type. Their armor ranges from cloth for Mages to plate for Warriors. Nine classes in Forever receive their own versions from Onyxia with separate names and stats for their raid role:
- Helm of Wrath (Warrior)
- Judgement Crown (Paladin)
- Dragonstalker's Helm (Hunter)
- Bloodfang Hood (Rogue)
- Halo of Transcendence (Priest)
- Helmet of Ten Storms (Shaman)
- Netherwind Crown (Mage)
- Nemesis Skullcap (Warlock)
- Stormrage Cover (Druid)
Blizzard has added six new race-class combinations to Forever. Among them are the Undead Paladin for the Horde and the Dwarf Shaman for the Alliance. These two classes played for different factions in Classic (Paladins for the Alliance and Shamans for the Horde). That's why their helmets are now of interest to players of both factions.
Does Onyxia Drop Tier 2 in Forever
Onyxia drops the same Tier 2 helmets in Forever as in Classic. Versions for all nine classes drop from her at the end of the three-phase fight in her lair in Dustwallow Marsh. The raid lock grants each character one chance at a drop before the reset. You can buy Onyxia Tier 2 Helm on ChaosBoost in the form of attempts. This allows you to choose the desired number of resets.
The drop rate for each Tier 2 helmet in Classic was around 21%. Onyxia dropped two such items per kill. We recommend purchasing attempts for several resets in a row, because getting the drop you need depends on luck with each kill. Our team kills this boss on every reset in the order. You won't have to assemble a 40-player raid every week.
Tier 2 Sets From Classic to Forever
Each T2 class set in Classic consisted of eight items. Players collected them across three raids: the helmet in Onyxia's Lair, the pants in Molten Core, and six pieces in Blackwing Lair. Forever has brought back one of these three raids (Onyxia's Lair). We consider the Tier 2 helmet to be the main reward from this lair for Forever players. But the new Hyjal Summit and Barrow Deeps raids offer their own tier sets.
