How WoW Forever Onyxia's Lair Boost Works

  1. Placing an Order

You choose the kill option and the extras you need on the service page. The kill option gives a raid spot in either self-play or pilot mode. Quick checkout prompts you to select the region, ruleset, and character faction on the same page.
  2. Payment

The Buy now button opens the payment method selection. Your ChaosBoost account balance covers up to 100% of the service price. Enter your personal 10% discount code in the promo code field and click the Apply button.
  3. Raid Booking

Operators receive your order upon payment. They begin booking a spot in a 40-player raid within 5 minutes in most cases. The operator then assembles a team and coordinates the start time with you.
  4. Service Execution

The raid leader sends a group invite at the start of the run. ChaosBoost's Rank 1 boosters will defeat the boss alongside your character. You can watch the fight or participate by following the leader's commands and instructions on Discord.
  5. Order Completion

The operator verifies the run results against the items in your order. You can check Conqueror of the Lair, loot, and extras on your character together with them. Then you can write a review on the website if you'd like.

We close the order after we verify all rewards. Our team will rerun the raid for free if any kills, rewards, or extras from the service page are missing.

FAQ

Do I Need the Onyxia Attunement First?

Your character must have the Drakefire Amulet in their bag when they enter the raid. You do not need to equip the amulet to enter the lair. Each alt on your account must clear the faction quest chain for their own amulet from the first step up to General Drakkisath in Upper Blackrock Spire. The "+ attunement" option links to a separate product for characters without the amulet.

How Long Does It Take to Clear Onyxia's Lair?

This raid is shorter than Barrow Deeps and Hyjal Summit because it has one boss. Our team guides your character through a tunnel with several groups of trash mobs. Then the raid kills the dragon in a three-phase fight in the lair's main hall. You won't have to find 40 players for a single kill.

What Do You Need From Me?

You specify the region, ruleset, and faction of your level 60 character when you place your order. Blizzard has replaced realms with a single shared world for each ruleset (such as Normal, PvP, or RP) in the US (together with Oceania) and EU regions. Characters do not transfer to other worlds or factions. That's why our team assembles a raid on your ruleset and faction.

Can I Play My Own Character?

You can complete the raid with your own character in self-play mode. The raid leader will give you instructions for each phase of the dragon fight. Our pilot option suits players who don't have enough time for the raid. Then a booster from our team will play your character for the entire run.

Does Every Kill Give a Legacy Point?

Conqueror of the Lair gives one Legacy point for the first kill on your account. Subsequent kills on other alts do not give new points. But each character on the account can spend this point in their own Legacy trees. This allows you to unlock perks for leveling and professions.

Onyxia's Lair Location and Raid Size

The entrance to WoW Forever Onyxia's Lair lies in a Wyrmbog cave in the southern part of Dustwallow Marsh. This raid brings together 40 level-60 players to fight the dragon. There are no other raids of this size in World of Warcraft Forever. Each of the 40 raiders must have the Drakefire Amulet in their bag (the attunement for it is a separate product), because the game won't let the character enter the lair without the amulet. Our WoW Forever boost saves you the trouble of finding these players.

Onyxia Phases and Fire Resistance

The battle against Onyxia unfolds in three phases that follow the Classic format. She remains on the ground throughout the first phase. Then she takes flight and hits the raid with Deep Breath across the entire hall. Whelps fly out of the side caves of the lair during this time. The third phase brings the boss back to the ground with Bellowing Roar (fear) and eruptions from cracks in the floor after each fear effect.

Blizzard advises raiders to build up fire resistance before they enter the lair. Fire damage occurs in all three phases of the fight. Our raid leader gives commands for every position change (from Flame Breath on the ground to Deep Breath in the air and the eruptions in the third phase). You won't need to study these movement patterns in guides before your first kill.

Onyxia Loot Table in Forever

Onyxia loot in Forever retains the classic list of items. Blizzard has also given every boss in Forever a rare chase item that's better than its standard drops. These items maintain the value of raids for level 60 players. The classic dragon rewards cover various slots and roles:

The quest for the head offers a choice between the Dragonslayer's Signet ring for casters, the Onyxia Tooth Pendant amulet for physical damage dealers, and the Onyxia Blood Talisman trinket for tanks. All three items have an ilvl of 65 in Forever. Our team awards the head to one buyer per kill. We recommend selecting the option for it if you want one of these rewards.
