Pendulum of Doom Damage Proc
Each hit can trigger a Fatal Wound proc that deals 259–363 physical damage. The proc receives a 50% bonus against targets below 25% health. Blizzard increased its damage from 250–350 in Classic and added this bonus in Forever. This bonus helps you finish off enemies in fewer hits while you level. We consider it the item’s main advantage.
The axe itself is rare-quality, has an ilvl of 44, and requires level 39. It counts as a slow weapon with a Speed of 4.00 and damage of 124–187. This allows you to deal a large chunk of damage to a mob with a single hit. Its new Equip effect alternates the attack speed after each swing between modes that are 100% faster and 50% slower. The Classic version of this two-hander did not have this effect.
Slow Two-Handed Axe From WoW Classic
We recommend the slow two-handed axe for Warriors, Paladins, and Shamans with a melee specialization in the 40s. The BoE binding in WoW Classic allowed players to purchase this two-hander on the auction house. Blizzard has given it a BoP binding in Forever. That's why every player receives it on their character from elite mobs or through the Aspects of Doom effect. Ordering from ChaosBoost saves you the trouble of finding a group for this farm.
Where to Farm Pendulum of Doom
The axe drops from three elite mobs in the Badlands dungeon: Stonevault Brawler, Stone Steward, and Stonevault Flameweaver. It is not part of the boss loot in this dungeon. The chance from these mobs in Classic was around 0.02%. You won’t have to spend your evenings in this dungeon because our team will farm the BoP item on your character. The Aspects of Doom effect in Forever combines Axe of Lingering Dread and Axe of Inevitable Ruin into this same weapon.
