WoW Forever Reagent Bag Slot Explained
Blizzard has added a fifth slot for a reagent bag in World of Warcraft Forever. Each WoW Forever reagent bag holds all items with the "Crafting Reagent" label. That's why cloth and other crafting materials don't take up space for loot and quest items. An empty fifth slot doesn't add anything to the inventory.
Classic gave characters a backpack and four additional slots. Cloth and herbs shared this space with gear and loot. That's why we consider the reagent bag a necessary purchase for every Forever character, from the starting zone all the way to level 60. Humanoids drop cloth for any class, even those without crafting professions.
Linen and Woolen Reagent Bag
The option on the page lets you choose between Linen and Woolen. Linen's recipe requires six Bolts of Linen Cloth and six Coarse Thread. The Woolen recipe has a different set of ingredients: three Bolts of Woolen Cloth, Fine Thread, and Cerulean Dye. Our team will send either of the two BoE models to your character via mail or trade. You won't have to stockpile cloth or search for Cerulean Dye.
Linen and Woolen differ in three ways:
- Six or eight slots
- ilvl 5 or ilvl 15
- Tailoring 5 or 70
Blizzard has increased Red Linen Bag's capacity in Forever from six to eight slots. It still occupies one of the four regular slots. Woolen gives the same number of slots in the fifth slot. We recommend Woolen to players who gather herbs or ore from the early levels and want to keep their regular slots free for loot.
Tailoring Bags for New Characters
A purchase for the fifth slot is an inexpensive addition to leveling up a new character. Tailors can craft Linen and Woolen at low skill levels. That's why a new character can fill the fifth slot within the first few hours of play and store cloth and other quest materials there. Quests give the bulk of experience because Blizzard has reduced the XP from mobs in dungeons. We recommend that you buy Reagent Bags as you level up your character.
Large WoW Forever bags for the fifth slot become available at the end of the profession's progression. Bottomless Reagent Bag with 20 slots requires a skill level of 300. But our team delivers Linen or Woolen as early as level 1. That's why you don't need to learn the profession and level it up to 70 just for a single purchase at the start of your progression.
