How Your Order Works

  1. Placing an Order

You choose the main options and extras on the service page. The Quick checkout form on the same page asks for your region, ruleset, and character's faction. Operators will help you choose the right option.

  2. Payment

The Buy now button opens the payment method selection. Your ChaosBoost account balance covers up to 100% of the price. Enter your personal 10% discount code in the promo code field and confirm by clicking Apply.

  3. Booking

Booking starts within 5 minutes of payment in most cases. An operator will assemble a team for the weekly Onyxia's Lair resets. The operator will coordinate the time of the first run with you.

  4. Service Execution

The raid leader will send your character an invitation to a 40-player raid. Rank 1 boosters will defeat Onyxia and give you loot priority for the drape. You can watch the fight or participate in it.

  5. Order Completion

You can review the results of each run with the operator. The operator closes the order after the final attempt to obtain the drape. You can leave feedback on the boosters' work later on the ChaosBoost website.

Our team will repeat the run for free if the boss kill or any extras from the order are missing. The rerun does not cover the cloak drop.

Frequently Asked Questions

Where Does Sapphiron Drape Drop?

This drape drops from Onyxia in Onyxia's Lair. The raid entrance is in Wyrmbog in southern Dustwallow Marsh in Kalimdor. This raid consists of a single boss encounter. It resets once a week and gives your character one attempt at the drape.

What Level Do You Need for Sapphiron Drape?

Your character must be level 60, just like the drape required in Classic. You must also have the Drakefire Amulet in your bag. The game will not allow players without the amulet to enter Onyxia's Lair. You receive the amulet by completing your faction's attunement quest chain.

What Stats Does Sapphiron Drape Have?

This drape gave +17 Intellect and +10 Stamina in Classic. Its Equip effect added up to 14 to spell damage and healing. The drape also gave +6 to both Frost and Arcane Resistance. We consider this stat set to be versatile for casters in both DPS and healing specs.

Is the Cloak Guaranteed to Drop?

There's no guarantee, because the game sets the drop chance. Every kill of Onyxia presents a new opportunity for a drop. Our team gives you loot priority for the drape on every attempt. You won't have to roll against other raid members.

Does Your Ruleset Matter?

The ruleset is important for your order, as are the region and faction. Each Forever region (US, including Oceania, and EU) has one shared world for each ruleset, from Normal to Hardcore. The game groups players of the same faction and ruleset into a single raid. That's why our team runs attempts in your world and on your faction's side.

Sapphiron Drape for Caster Classes

This caster cloak suits level 60 characters who deal damage or heal with spells. The drape is useful in both Forever raids and dungeons. We recommend it for the following five classes:

  • Mage
  • Warlock
  • Holy and Shadow Priest
  • Balance and Restoration Druid
  • Elemental and Restoration Shaman

The BoP restriction prevents you from buying this drape on the auction house. That's why your character must be in the raid at the moment of the drop. Our team takes you on the Onyxia's Lair raid at every reset as part of the order. You won't have to look for an open spot in a 40-player raid.

WoW Classic Onyxia Loot in Forever

This drape came to World of Warcraft Forever from the Classic Onyxia loot table. It has a drop rate of around 20% per kill in Classic. Your character receives one Onyxia kill per raid reset. You can buy Sapphiron Drape on ChaosBoost as a series of attempts during weekly resets alongside our team's Rank 1 boosters. Another caster reward from Onyxia is the Dragonslayer's Signet ring, which you get by turning in her head.

Mage BiS Cloak Options

Classic best-in-slot (BiS) gear lists for Mages placed this Onyxia cloak in the back slot. Another option for this slot is the blue Archivist Cape from Archivist Galford in Stratholme. Archivist Cape drops with a random stat bonus. That's why players clear Stratholme multiple times to get the desired suffix. We recommend that Mages with a raid spot prioritize the Onyxia cloak, because its bonuses are consistent across every drop.
