What You Receive

How It Works

  1. Placing an Order

You select the region, rule set, and character faction on the service page. The main option specifies the number of attempts against the boss. Quick checkout opens a form on the same page and asks for the necessary information.
  2. Payment

The Buy now button opens the payment method selection screen. You enter your personal 10% discount code from your account in the promo code field there. Your ChaosBoost balance covers up to 100% of the cost of the attempts.
  3. Team Booking

The order reaches the operators upon payment. They begin booking the team within 5 minutes in most cases. You can add any special requests to your order.
  4. Service Execution

The leader sends an invitation at the time you agreed upon with the operator. Rank 1 boosters defeat The Abandoned after three waves at the statue in each attempt. You can watch the fights or participate in them on the leader's commands.
  5. Order Completion

You review the results of the attempts together with the operator. Then you can leave feedback on the ChaosBoost website about the team's performance in Ruins of Lordaeron.

The operator closes the order after all attempts are complete, once the rewards and extras are in your character's bags. Our team will repeat the run for free if it doesn't kill the boss.

FAQ

Who Can Use Scepter of the Abandoned?

The scepter suits healers and casters with access to one-handed maces. Priests, Shamans, and Druids use it to boost their healing and spell damage in groups and on quests. You won't have to switch weapons when you switch roles from healer to DPS. Holy Paladins also use this main hand mace for the same bonus.

What Level Do You Need for Scepter of the Abandoned?

Your character needs to be level 17 to equip the scepter. This requirement falls in the middle of the Ruins of Lordaeron level range, which spans levels 15 to 20. The experience you get from mobs there is low because Blizzard has reduced it in dungeons. That's why we recommend leveling up through quests and attempting to obtain the scepter closer to level 17.

Is Scepter of the Abandoned Worth It in WoW Forever?

We believe the scepter is worth attempting for a healer or caster at levels 17-20. This scepter leaves the second slot free for a shield or an off-hand item with spell bonuses. A two-handed staff takes both of the character's hands.

Where Can I Buy Scepter of the Abandoned?

ChaosBoost sells attempts for this item in Ruins of Lordaeron. The game binds the scepter to the character upon pickup (BoP). That's why another player cannot list it on the Auction House or send it to you via mail. You collect the loot from the boss yourself in a group with our team.

Can Alliance Players Get the Scepter?

The item is available to characters of both factions. Blizzard made Ruins of Lordaeron a shared dungeon, although the entrance sits in Horde territory in Tirisfal Glades. Characters do not switch between factions or rule sets. That's why you choose these settings along with the region on the service page.

Scepter of the Abandoned for Healers

The scepter is a blue main hand mace for healers. This mace has an item level of 22. Its main bonus adds up to +24 to spell damage and healing. This allows the healer to restore more health to the group for the same amount of mana.

A character can equip this mace from level 17. Its melee attack deals 17 to 33 damage. The weapon's attack speed is 2.60. We recommend evaluating it by its spell bonus, as these stats do not affect healing or casting. An additional +5 Shadow Resistance protects the character from shadow magic.

The Abandoned Boss Loot and Statue Gauntlet

The Abandoned is hiding inside a statue in the western part of Ruins of Lordaeron. This statue with red eyes triggers a gauntlet of three waves of enemies. The boss comes out to face the party after the third wave. He uses three abilities in combat:

  • Frost Armor slows melee fighters
  • Frost Nova roots nearby players
  • Drain Life drains the tank's health

The Abandoned's loot table includes three items. It holds the scepter and Grip of Fear (mail gloves). The third reward is Rotmender's Leggings from the Rotmender's Raiment cloth set. This five-piece set gives bonuses to healers and casters. So a Priest healer can obtain both the scepter and the leggings from a single boss.

WoW Forever Ruins of Lordaeron Runs

Ruins of Lordaeron is one of the nine new dungeons in World of Warcraft Forever. The entrance for level 15-20 groups sits at the staircase to the left of the main gate in the ruins of the capital above Undercity. Inside are six bosses and a rare Lordaeron Captain. The group can defeat the bosses in any order, so the run for the scepter is short.
