How This Service Works

  1. Placing an Order

You choose the number of attempts on the service page and add them to the cart. Quick checkout opens a form on the same page for region, rule set, and faction. Operators can help you choose order options if you’re unsure.
  2. Payment

The Buy now button opens the payment method selection for the attempts. Your ChaosBoost account balance covers up to 100% of the order price. Enter your personal 10% discount code in the promo code field and confirm by clicking Apply.
  3. Team Booking

Your order goes to an operator upon payment. The operator selects a team for your world and begins the booking process within 5 minutes in most cases. They will coordinate the run start time with you.
  4. Service Execution

The leader sends a group invitation by the start time. You can watch the fights or participate in them. Rank 1 boosters complete City of Dalaran with your character in 30–40 minutes.
  5. Order Completion

The operator checks the results of each run with you. They close the order after the final attempt if all loot is in your character’s bags. You can leave a review of the team on the website.

The order is complete once every attempt ends with a kill of the target boss. Our team will repeat any run free of charge if your character missed the kill of that boss.

Frequently Asked Questions

Where Does Spine of the Devourer Drop?

The staff drops from Mana Devourer in City of Dalaran. City of Dalaran is a new Forever dungeon for levels 28–33 in Alterac Mountains, accessible through the Dalaran sewers. The boss itself stands near Violet Hold on the city streets. There are a total of eight bosses there with the secret Lyn the Ignored among them.

What Level Do You Need for Spine of the Devourer?

Your character can equip it from level 28. This threshold matches the lower end of City of Dalaran’s range. The blue ilvl 33 staff stays in the weapon slot even after level 33. This allows casters to wear it until an upgrade drops on quests or in dungeons.

Is Spine of the Devourer Worth It in WoW Forever?

We believe it is worth the effort for spellcasters. The bonus to spell damage and healing makes it a powerful weapon at levels 28–33. Our team handles all group finding and attempts. You won’t have to spend your evenings on repeat runs of the same dungeon just for one boss.

Why Do You Need My Region and Faction?

The team plays in the same world and for the same faction as your character. There are no separate realms in Forever. Each region (US with Oceania, and EU) has one shared world for each rule set. Characters do not transfer between these worlds or factions.

Can You Trade Me the Staff?

The game does not allow you to transfer it via trade or mail. It is BoP and binds to your character on pickup. That's why your character must participate in the group on every attempt until the kill of the target boss. You collect the loot from the boss yourself.

Spine of the Devourer Caster Staff

This two-handed staff for casters has a blue (rare) quality and an ilvl of 33. It deals 59–90 damage with a speed of 3.60. A bonus of up to +36 to damage and healing from spells and magical effects of any school of magic gives the staff its main value. That's why every damage and healing spell (Frostbolt, Shadow Bolt, Heal) receives this bonus.

Your character can equip this weapon from level 28. Another bonus line (Spell Penetration +3) reduces the target’s resistance to your spells. We consider the spell bonus to be the staff’s strongest feature for a caster throughout the entire leveling process from level 28 to the first upgrade.

Mana Devourer Loot in Dalaran Dungeon

This boss in City of Dalaran (28–33) drops blue loot with an ilvl of 33. The loot table includes three items for different classes, from spellcasters to melee fighters in leather armor:

Dalaran Sewer Key unlocks the entrance to the Dalaran sewers. Image of Archmage Modera grants this key as part of the Heart of Disruption quest near the city on the shore of Lordamere Lake. One key holder is enough for the entire group. This allows the other players to enter the dungeon without their own key. The Alliance can also get inside via the teleport near Image of Archmage Modera.

Who Needs Spine of the Devourer

Mages, warlocks, and priests at levels 28–33 need the staff. Druids and shamans also gain +14 Stamina from it in addition to the spell bonus. We recommend that casters buy Spine of the Devourer at level 28. Our team spends 30–40 minutes per attempt in a group of five players. You won’t have to wait for an available tank or healer in your world.
