How Long Does Thorium Brotherhood Exalted Take?

How long Exalted takes depends on the character’s starting rank and the materials in their bags. The longest stretch of the progression is the Revered rank, which requires 21,000 points. Fiery Core and Lava Core from Molten Core used to speed up the path to Exalted in Classic. Characters reach the higher ranks in Forever by turning in Dark Iron Ore, since Molten Core isn’t in the game.

What Rewards Does Thorium Brotherhood Give?

The faction unlocks access to Lokhtos Darkbargainer’s recipes at the Grim Guzzler tavern inside BRD. Each rank adds new plans, patterns, and formulas to his inventory. Lokhtos sells patterns for Flarecore Gloves and Molten Helm from the Friendly rank for Tailoring or Leatherworking at 300. Exalted unlocks Nightfall, Ebon Hand, and Blackguard weapon plans for Blacksmithing.

How Do You Farm Thorium Brotherhood Reputation?

Players earn Thorium Brotherhood rep by turning in materials to two faction NPCs. Master Smith Burninate at Thorium Point in Searing Gorge accepts them from Neutral to Honored. Lokhtos Darkbargainer in BRD handles ranks above Honored. Our team farms these materials with your character without you having to find a group for each run.

Which Thorium Brotherhood Rank Do You Need?

The rank you need depends on your character’s profession. Tailors, Leatherworkers, and Enchanters receive the faction’s final recipes at the Revered rank. Blacksmiths need Exalted because Lokhtos sells the plans for Dark Iron Boots and weapons for all three Weaponsmith specializations at that rank. We recommend ordering the rank for the latest recipe on your list.

Does Legacy Diplomat Speed Up Reputation?

The Legacy Diplomat perk speeds up reputation gain with Thorium Brotherhood. Each of the perk’s five ranks adds 2% to reputation. The fifth rank raises the bonus to +10%. Your account earns Legacy Points by completing class, profession, and dungeon challenges outside of Hardcore mode.

Thorium Brotherhood Rep in Blackrock Depths

Most WoW Forever Thorium Brotherhood reputation comes from the BRD dungeon for levels 52–60. Its mobs and bosses drop Dark Iron Residue from the entrance all the way to Emperor Dagran Thaurissan’s throne in the Imperial Seat. This allows you to earn Residue through a standard dungeon run. Master Smith Burninate and Lokhtos Darkbargainer accept three sets of materials from players:

  • Incendosaur Scales and Coal to reach Friendly
  • Dark Iron Residue to reach Honored
  • Dark Iron Ore up to Exalted

The path from Neutral to Friendly requires 240 Incendosaur Scales and 120 Coal. Burninate also asks for Heavy Leather, Iron Bar, or Kingsblood with each turn-in. Our team farms Incendosaurs in Searing Gorge alongside your character. You won’t have to buy hundreds of scales on the auction house.

Fire Resistance Gear Recipes Before Onyxia

Lokhtos Darkbargainer sells Fire Resistance recipes for Blacksmithing, Leatherworking, and Tailoring. Pattern: Flarecore Mantle teaches tailors how to craft the epic shoulder piece Flarecore Mantle. It gives +24 Fire Resistance to characters from level 56. This allows you to craft part of your FR set yourself. Enchanting receives three weapon formulas from the faction (Strength, Mighty Spirit, and Mighty Intellect).

Blizzard recommends that raids gather Fire Resistance before entering the 40-player Onyxia’s Lair. But the demand for FR recipes is lower without Molten Core than in Classic. Flarecore Mantle and Dark Iron Helm require Fiery Core and Lava Core from Molten Core. We recommend checking the plan’s reagents before purchasing it.

WoW Classic Thorium Brotherhood Rep vs Forever

The Thorium Brotherhood faction moved to Forever with an “Unchanged” status. Classic players obtained three of the five materials for turn-ins to Lokhtos Darkbargainer (Fiery Core, Lava Core, and Core Leather) from mobs in Molten Core. This raid does not exist in World of Warcraft Forever. That's why the classic path to Exalted reputation through Core materials may not work.
