How Your Order Works

  1. Placing an Order

You choose the region, ruleset, and faction on the service page. Clicking “Quick checkout” opens a form on the same page for your character's details.
  2. Payment

The “Buy now” button opens a list of payment methods. Your ChaosBoost account balance covers up to 100% of the cost of the attempts. Enter your personal 10% discount code in the promo code field and click the “Apply” button after registration.
  3. Booking

Operators receive your order upon payment. They begin reserving a spot in our 40-player raid within 5 minutes in most cases. You'll coordinate the raid start time with the operator.
  4. Service Execution

The raid leader sends your character a raid invitation before the start. You can watch the boss fight or participate in it. Your character has priority for the sword over other players in the raid when it drops.
  5. Order Completion

The final attempt to obtain the blade completes your order. You can review the results of each run with a ChaosBoost operator. Your feedback about the raid can go on the website if you'd like.

Each attempt in the order ends when your character kills Onyxia in her lair. Our team will repeat the run for free if the kill or extras are missing.

Frequently Asked Questions

Where Does Vis'kag the Bloodletter Drop?

The sword drops from Onyxia in the Onyxia's Lair raid. There are no other bosses in this 40-player lair. Its entrance lies in the Wyrmbog area in the southern part of Dustwallow Marsh. The fight against her consists of three phases with powerful fire attacks that can punish a raid that hasn't prepared for fire damage.

What Level Do You Need for Vis'kag the Bloodletter?

Your character can equip the sword at level 60. Blizzard designed Onyxia's Lair for the same level. Another entry requirement is the Drakefire Amulet, which players receive at the end of their faction's quest chain in Upper Blackrock Spire. You do not need to equip the amulet in the neck slot.

Which Realm Should You Choose?

You don't need to choose a realm because there are no realms in the game. Each region (US combined with Oceania or EU) has a single shared world for each ruleset, from Normal to Hardcore. Characters in the game do not transfer between worlds or factions. That's why your ChaosBoost order specifies the region, ruleset, and faction.

Can You Buy Vis'kag the Bloodletter Outright?

ChaosBoost sells attempts at Vis'kag in our Onyxia raid. This BoP blade becomes the character's property at the moment of looting. The Auction House and mail do not accept such items. Your character receives this blade in our raid when it drops from the boss and the loot priority assigns it to you.

Vis'kag the Bloodletter Stats in Classic

Vis'kag is an Epic one-handed sword with an item level of 74. It requires level 60 and is Bind on Pickup (BoP). The blade is suitable for both the main hand and off-hand for classes with the Swords skill. This allows you to choose a slot for it based on your build. Its tooltip in Classic contains five lines of stats:

  • Damage 100–187
  • Attack Speed 2.60
  • DPS 55.2
  • Chance on hit for 240 damage
  • Durability 105

The Fatal Wound proc is Vis'kag's main strength. It deals 240 damage to the target on top of the base attack. The tooltip with 55.2 DPS does not account for these procs. That's why we believe that the sword gives your character more damage in a fight than the numbers suggest.

Onyxia Loot and Weekly Attempts

Your character joins our raid in Onyxia's Lair at every weekly reset. You won't have to assemble your own 40-player group. The drop rate for the BoP sword from Onyxia in Classic was around 4%. That's why the order for attempts comes with no guarantee. But your character receives priority on the sword without a roll against other players in the same run where Vis'kag appears in Onyxia loot.

Rogue BiS and Sword Classes

We see Vis'kag as a contender for the BiS sword for Rogues. This blade became a popular weapon for level 60 Rogues with the Hemorrhage talent from the Subtlety tree in Classic. The reason was its high damage and a swing speed of 2.60. Hemorrhage and Sinister Strike take their damage from the main-hand weapon. That's why a slow blade with high damage enhances both of your Rogue's abilities.

The second class for Vis'kag is the Warrior who uses swords in either the main hand or off-hand. Its “Unique” tag prevents him from equipping a second copy in the other hand. Heroic Strike and Whirlwind deal damage with the main-hand weapon. We recommend keeping the sword in this hand. The Fatal Wound proc gets more chances to trigger during a fight this way.
