How Warlock Felhunter Quest Service Works

  1. Placing an Order

You choose the region, ruleset, and faction on the service page. There you can also select the Soran'ruk add-on, which includes runs through Blackfathom Deeps and Shadowfang Keep. Quick checkout opens the order form on the same page.
  2. Payment

The Buy now button opens the payment method selection. Your ChaosBoost account balance covers up to 100% of the service price. You’ll receive a personal 10% discount code after you register on the site; enter it in the promo code field before you click Apply.
  3. Booking

Operators receive your order as soon as you pay. They begin booking your pilot within 5 minutes in most cases and will coordinate the start time with you. You can also add any special requests to your order.
  4. Service Execution

The pilot logs into your warlock by the start time. Your quest chain route goes through Kalimdor and Eastern Kingdoms. Our pilot guides your character through all five steps up to the final ritual with Strahad Farsan.
  5. Order Completion

Strahad Farsan teaches your warlock Summon Felhunter in Ratchet. You check your character’s spellbook and bags together with the operator before the order closes. Then you can leave a review on the ChaosBoost website.

The operator closes the order once your character has everything from the shopping cart, from Summon Felhunter in the spellbook to the add-on reward. Our pilot will repeat the necessary run for free if any Soran'ruk Fragment or extra is missing.

Before You Start

Your character and account must meet the service requirements:

  • Level 30 Warlock
  • Active WoW subscription
  • Account access for the pilot
  • A free bag slot for Box of Souls

Warlocks below level 30 must level up before they order, as Strahad Farsan will not grant the quest chain until then.

Frequently Asked Questions

What Does Warlock Felhunter Quest Reward?

The Binding quest at the end of the chain teaches your warlock the Summon Felhunter ability. Strahad Farsan also gives you a Box of Souls bag for Soul Shards as a reward. Characters with the Soran'ruk add-on receive the quest reward from Doan Karhan in The Barrens. You choose between a Soran'ruk off-hand and a staff.

Where Does Warlock Felhunter Quest Start?

Strahad Farsan starts the Felhunter chain in Ratchet on the coast of The Barrens. The Seeking Strahad quest from a trainer in Stormwind, Orgrimmar, or Undercity leads a level 30 character to him. Our pilot will clear this path on your character. The Binding quest from Strahad is available to both factions.

What Level Do You Need for Warlock Felhunter Quest?

Each step of the Felhunter quest chain requires a level 30 warlock. The quest from Doan Karhan for the Soran'ruk add-on is available from level 20. That's why our pilot clears both parts on a level 30 character. You won’t need a second order for this add-on.

Which Region and Ruleset Can I Choose?

You specify the region, ruleset, and faction when you place your order. Blizzard does not divide Forever into separate realms. Each region (US together with Oceania or EU) receives a single shared world for each ruleset from Normal to Hardcore. Characters cannot transfer between these worlds or factions.

Tome of the Cabal Quest Chain

The Felhunter quest chain consists of five quests for both factions from level 30. Its route leads from Strahad Farsan in Ratchet to the tome keeper (Krom Stoutarm in Ironforge for the Alliance or Jorah Annison in Undercity for the Horde). The keeper assembles Reconstructed Tome from Moldy Tome in Hillsbrad Foothills and Tattered Manuscript from Thousand Needles. Our pilot turns in this tome to Strahad Farsan along with three Rods of Channeling from Wetlands. You won’t have to farm Dragonmaw for them or travel around to collect the tome’s parts.

Blizzard has ported these WoW Classic warlock quests to Forever without any changes. That's why the classic route from Ratchet to Wetlands is still valid here. The Binding ritual at the end of the chain requires killing a demon that the character summons via Tome of the Cabal from Strahad Farsan. Defeating it grants Summon Felhunter and a 16-slot Box of Souls. This frees up regular bags from Soul Shards.

Each Felhunter summon takes 10 seconds to cast and costs one Soul Shard. This demon also works with the Demonic Sacrifice talent. Blizzard has reworked this talent in World of Warcraft Forever. Sacrificing a Felhunter now restores 3% health every 4 seconds instead of mana. We recommend this sacrifice to solo players for the 2-hour buff and short meal breaks between mob fights in Forever.

Orb of Soran'ruk Off-Hand Add-On

The Soran'ruk add-on adds a quest from Doan Karhan in The Barrens to the Felhunter quest chain. This level 25 quest is available from level 20 and has not changed in Forever. Our pilot brings Doan Karhan three Soran'ruk Fragments from Twilight Acolyte in Blackfathom Deeps and Large Soran'ruk Fragment from Shadowfang Darksoul in Shadowfang Keep. You don’t need to find a group for Blackfathom Deeps or Shadowfang Keep.

Doan Karhan gives you either an off-hand or a staff of your choice for Soran'ruk Fragments. The off-hand grants your character +9 to Fire and Shadow damage in Forever instead of the +4 in the classic version of this reward. Its Use effect restores 48 health every 3 seconds. It has a 10-minute cooldown.

The Soran'ruk staff is a two-handed weapon and gives +14 Stamina. Blizzard has increased its bonus to Fire and Shadow damage from +9 to +34. We consider the staff the best choice for leveling up on Forever quests because its bonus to spell damage is higher than that of the Soran'ruk off-hand.
