Whirlwind Axe Quest Chain and Cyclonian
WoW Forever Whirlwind Axe chain consists of six quests and rewards the warrior with one of three two-handed weapons of their choice. Players know it as one of the most famous WoW Classic warrior quests. It carried over to Forever from Classic with the same steps and NPCs. Classic veterans won’t have to relearn the route. It leads from the warrior trainer to Bath'rah the Windwatcher's hut in Alterac Mountains through the following stages:
- The Islander at the warrior trainer
- The Affray on Fray Island
- The Windwatcher to Bath'rah
- Gathering three types of materials
- The Summoning, which summons the boss
- Whirlwind Weapon, where you choose a weapon
Bath'rah requires eight Liferoot, 30 Bloodscalp Tusks, and Essence of the Exile to summon the boss. He then summons a level 40 air elemental with the Elite tag near his camp for The Summoning. A level 30 warrior cannot defeat this boss solo. That's why players either assemble a group to fight it or order WoW Forever boost. This allows you to complete the quest chain at level 30.
Whirlwind Axe vs Sword and Warhammer
The Whirlwind Axe, Sword, and Warhammer are Rare-quality two-handed weapons with an item level of 40. They share the same stats (+16 Str and +15 Sta) and have the same BoP binding. The weapon type affects attack speed from 2.90 for the sword to 3.60 for the axe. This allows you to choose a weapon that suits your playstyle. You can select your preferred type from the order options on the service page.
The weapon’s tooltip in World of Warcraft Forever confirms the bonus and item level. There are no level requirements on it. That's why a level 30 warrior can equip the reward upon receipt. Players have considered this weapon one of the strongest two-handed options throughout the entire leveling range from level 30 to 40 since the Classic era.
