How Your Order Works

  1. Placing an Order

You choose the region, rule set, and faction on the service page. Then you check the “until drop” or “attempts” option and add the service with extras to your cart. Quick checkout opens the order form on the same page.
  2. Payment

The Buy now button opens a list of payment methods. Your ChaosBoost account balance allows you to cover up to 100% of the price. You'll receive a personal 10% discount code after registration and enter it in the promo code field before you click Apply.
  3. Team Booking

ChaosBoost operators receive your order as soon as you pay. They begin booking a team for Scarlet Monastery Cathedral within 5 minutes in most cases. You choose the run start time together with the operator.
  4. Service Execution

The group leader will send you an invitation by the start time. Rank 1 boosters will guide you through the Cathedral to the final fight. You can watch the fights or participate in them according to the leader's commands and instructions on Discord.
  5. Order Completion

You can check the run's results with the operator. They will close the order once your character has all rewards and extras. You can then leave a review of the run on the website.

The service ends when your character gets the hat or completes all attempts in the order. Our team will repeat the run for you free of charge if it does not include the required boss, rewards, or extras.

Frequently Asked Questions

Who Can Use Whitemane's Chapeau?

Any class at level 39 or higher can wear the hat. Blizzard reworked its tooltip in Forever for healers and added a healing bonus and faster resurrection. That's why we recommend it to anyone who heals a group at levels 39–46. Mages and Warlocks value this helmet for its Intellect and spell damage bonus.

Where Does Whitemane's Chapeau Drop?

The hat drops from Whitemane in the final Cathedral fight. This wing of the Scarlet Monastery stands in the northeast corner of Tirisfal Glades. The Scarlet Key from Doan's Strongbox (after the fight with Arcanist Doan in the Library) opens the door to the Cathedral portal. A Rogue with Lockpicking 175 can also pick the lock on this door.

What Level Do You Need for Whitemane's Chapeau?

Your character can equip the hat at level 39. Blizzard has retained its Classic ilvl of 44. The Cathedral wing suits characters of levels 38–46. That's why we recommend running at level 39 to wear the hat throughout the entire Cathedral level range.

Can I Buy Whitemane's Chapeau on the AH?

The hat is not available on the Auction House in any region. It binds to your character when you loot it. That's why our team runs Cathedral with you in a group from the first pull. Your character will take the hat from Whitemane's loot after the final fight.

How Many Attempts Do I Need?

The number of attempts depends on your luck with each Whitemane kill. Our team repeats the run with the “until drop” option until the hat drops. You won't have to gather a new group after every failure. We recommend this option for healers at levels 39–46.

Whitemane's Chapeau Healer Rework

Blizzard revealed a tooltip for Forever that turns this hat into a healer's helmet at BlizzCon. The new tooltip gives +10 Intellect and +12 Spirit. Its first Equip effect adds up to +20 to healing and up to +7 to spell damage. The second reduces the cast time of resurrection spells by 20%. This allows healers to revive their group after a wipe in the Cathedral or any other dungeon in Forever faster than in Classic.

The Classic version of the hat gave +14 Intellect and +14 Spirit without any Equip effects. Both versions give the character the same +9 Stamina. Mages, Warlocks, and Priests wore this hat in Classic around level 40 for the mana pool from Intellect and the regeneration from Spirit. The Forever tooltip reduced the Intellect and Spirit stats and added two Equip effects. We believe that healers at levels 39–46 benefit more from the new version than from the old one.

High Inquisitor Whitemane Loot

Whitemane drops her loot in the final fight of the Cathedral, where she appears alongside Scarlet Commander Mograine. Groups of up to ten people would enter this area in Classic. Blizzard has limited the party size for this fight in Forever to five players. ChaosBoost operators will assemble this group for you. The loot table for Whitemane in this fight includes three rare items:

The drop rate for the hat hovered around 37% in Classic. Hand of Righteousness from the same boss also received a new tooltip in Forever. This mace has become one of the most popular items in Forever. Every kill of this boss in the final Cathedral fight gives your group a chance at both the hat and Hand of Righteousness.

Is Whitemane's Chapeau in WoW Forever

Blizzard has kept the hat in Whitemane's loot in World of Warcraft Forever. Some players even considered its new tooltip (with a bonus of up to +20 to healing) too powerful for level 39. We consider this helmet a must-have for healers at levels 39–46. Your character also completes the Cathedral requirement for the Experienced Spelunker achievement after you kill Whitemane. This Legacy achievement requires completing ten dungeons with all four wings of the Scarlet Monastery among them.
