So what does it take to beat Warcraft Rumble Blackfathom Deeps? Here’s a quick breakdown of the dungeon’s three boss encounters and general strategy for each:

• Grglmrgl: This mischievous murloc warlord is actually one of the toughest parts of BFD. Grglmrgl will spawn waves of ranged Murloc tadpoles that attack your minis from high ground. Bring Unbound units (like flying minis) or spells to quickly clear those ranged murlocs on ledges. Also, capture the turret on the right side early – that turret gives you a huge advantage in controlling the swarm. With a sturdy tank mini up front and some AoE damage, push through the murloc mob and take Grglmrgl down. Tip: don’t underestimate his chip damage on your base; clear those adds fast or they’ll whittle you away (as many frustrated players have learned!).
• Baron Aquanis: Next is Baron Aquanis, a big water elemental. This fight is a bit more straightforward than the first. Aquanis hits hard but is slow. Build a balanced force with a frontline tank and ranged DPS behind. Watch out for Aquanis’s tidal wave attacks (he can hit multiple minis at once). Keep your units spread out if possible, and use any healing or shield abilities you have to sustain through his bursts. Controlling the map’s objectives (like spawn pads or turrets) will make the fight easier. Once you beat the Baron, you’re on to the final boss.
• Aku’mai: The final boss is Aku’mai, a giant three-headed hydra. Aku’mai has a ton of health – truly a raid boss level HP sponge – and can deal heavy damage up close. Time is of the essence here, so efficient DPS is key. Use any damage buffs (like leader talents or relics) you have. Hogger players, this is where his Relentless attack speed buff really shines as it stacks up. Keep spawning your strongest melee minis to hold Aku’mai’s attention while glass-cannon ranged units or spells hit her from afar. If Aku’mai spawns additional adds (like hydra hatchlings or eels), prioritize killing them so they don’t overwhelm your army. With good focus fire and maybe a touch of luck, the hydra will fall.
