Dreadsteed Mount: How It Works

  1. Placing an Order

You choose either Piloted or Self-play mode on the service page. There you’ll find options for quest chain reagents and extras for the level 40 warlock mount. Quick checkout opens the order form on this page.

  2. Payment

The Buy now button opens the payment method selection. Our site redirects you back to your order after payment. You’ll receive purchase details via email.

  3. Team Booking

Operators receive your order upon payment. They begin the booking process within 5 minutes in most cases. The operator will coordinate the team’s start time for Scholomance and Dire Maul with you.

  4. Completing the Chain

Rank 1 boosters begin the chain at this time. They complete open-world quests on your character. The leader will send you a group invite for Scholomance and Dire Maul if you chose Self-play.

  5. Order Completion

The ritual in Dire Maul grants your warlock Summon Dreadsteed. Our operator will check the new mount in the spellbook and all extras with you. You can then leave a review on the website.

The operator keeps the order active until Summon Dreadsteed and the extras appear. Our team will repeat the ritual or the Scholomance run for free if anything from the order is missing.

Before You Start

Check the following four items on your character before your Dreadsteed quest starts:

  • Level 60 warlock
  • Enough Soul Shards for the ritual
  • Gold and materials (your own reagents)
  • Online time for dungeons (Self-play)

Operators will help you choose the option with our reagents if your character doesn’t have enough gold to buy items from NPCs.

FAQ

How Much Does Dreadsteed Cost?

The price of WoW Forever Dreadsteed depends on the options on the service page. Your account will receive a personal 10% discount code after you register on ChaosBoost. Enter it in the promo code field during Quick checkout and click Apply before you pay. Your ChaosBoost account balance covers up to 100% of the price.

What Level Do You Need for Dreadsteed?

The Dreadsteed chain requires a level 60 warlock. Class trainers in the capital cities give out your warlock epic mount quest from this level. But the first steps of the quest chain are at level 58. That's why we recommend not looking for this quest before you reach level 60.

Do I Need to Play Myself?

You don’t need to play if you’ve chosen Piloted mode. This mode hands the entire quest chain over to the ChaosBoost booster. Self-play keeps your character in our group for all stages of the quest chain, from Imp Delivery in Scholomance to the ritual in Dire Maul. You can watch the fights or participate in them there according to the leader’s instructions on Discord.

What Character Details Do You Need?

We need your character’s region, ruleset, and faction. Blizzard has implemented a single shared world for each ruleset in a region in Forever, rather than separate realms. There is no way to switch between these worlds or factions within the game. That's why every WoW Forever boost on ChaosBoost takes place in your character’s world.

Warlock Epic Mount Quest Steps

WoW Forever Dreadsteed chain consists of level 60 class quests from warlock trainers. Its final quest gives your warlock an epic class mount. The quest chain takes your character between the Eastern Kingdoms and Kalimdor through the Burning Steppes, Winterspring, and Felwood. It includes the Scholomance and Dire Maul dungeons. The quests in the chain follow this order:

Blizzard has ported all quests in this chain from Classic to World of Warcraft Forever (from the first step with the trainer to the ritual) without any changes. Our team completes it on your character. You won’t have to gather a group for Scholomance or the ritual.

Dreadsteed Quest Reagents and Ritual

The Circle of Greater Summoning ritual takes place in Dire Maul at the Pedestal of Immol'thar. Three power nodes of this circle go dark during the ritual. Black Lodestone restores each of them to working order for one Soul Shard. Our group kills Xorothian Dreadsteed in the final fight at the pedestal. The quest chain requires purchases from NPCs and the following materials:

The option with our reagents transfers all these purchases and material farming to our team. This saves you from having to hunt down 35 Black Dragonscale and 30 Raging Beast's Blood. You provide the materials and gold yourself if you choose the option with your own reagents. Our group performs the ritual for WoW Forever Dreadsteed in both cases. You can participate yourself or hand your character over to a booster in Piloted mode.

Felsteed and Troll Warlock Mounts

A warlock gets their first mount at level 40. Class trainers send the character to Strahad Farsan in the tower above Ratchet in The Barrens. Our team completes the quest Summon Felsteed from this NPC as an extra to your order. The epic Dreadsteed chain is available to warlocks of any race and faction. New troll warlocks can also clear it from the trainer to Dire Maul in Self-play with our team or in Piloted mode.
