Camping Buffs From Every Profession
WoW Forever camping system unlocks a unique object for each of the 11 professions at skill level 20. Most of these objects give hour-long camping buffs to all players near a campfire. These buffs replicate class-specific buffs and do not stack with them. This allows a group that lacks the required class to receive a similar buff. Professions place these objects around the Cooking campfire:
- Alchemy - The paladin’s Blessing of Wisdom does not stack with Mana Well or its mana regeneration.
- Blacksmithing - Strength from Sharpening Wheel replicates the shaman’s Strength of Earth Totem.
- Enchanting - Enchanted Lute increases armor, stats, and resistances. Mark of the Wild gives the same set of benefits.
- Engineering - Reagent Bot summons a vendor with reagents instead of a buff.
- First Aid - First Aid Kit with its Stamina buff serves as the camping equivalent of Power Word: Fortitude.
- Fishing - Fish Bowl gives +8% to all stats and does not stack with Blessing of Kings.
- Herbalism - Incense Candle increases Intellect instead of the mage’s Arcane Intellect.
- Leatherworking - Camp Tent gives rested XP worth 5% of a level, just like resting at an inn.
- Mining - Lodestone gives melee fighters Attack Power, which does not stack with Blessing of Might.
- Skinning - Camp Chair adds +2% to critical strike chance. This buff does not stack with Moonkin Aura.
- Tailoring - Players of your faction receive a Spirit buff from Faction Banner. A priest’s Divine Spirit does not stack with it.
- Cooking - Basic Campfire at skill level 1 creates a campsite and a fire for cooking.
We recommend unlocking Tier 1 in all of your character’s professions. Each Camping 101 quest also grants 270 XP. This way you’ll bring any camp an object that its campfire is still missing.
Blueprints for Skill 140 Camping Objects
A skill 140 Blueprint unlocks Tier 2 objects for WoW Forever camping. Each Tier 2 object retains the Tier 1 buff. It also adds a crafting station, an equipment repair station, or an herb patch. This moves crafting and repair functions to your campfire. Bosses in six dungeons drop Tier 2 Blueprints:
| Object | Profession | Boss | Dungeon |
|---|---|---|---|
| Fermenter | Alchemy | Rath'mael | Ruins of Lordaeron |
| Anvil | Blacksmithing | Gilnid | Deadmines |
| Cookie's Feast | Cooking | Cookie | Deadmines |
| Arcane Salvager | Enchanting | Shade of the Archmage | City of Dalaran |
| Repair Bot | Engineering | Sneed | Deadmines |
| Toxin Study | First Aid | Commander Springvale | Shadowfang Keep |
| Greenhouse | Herbalism | Shadetooth | Excavation Site |
| Tanning Rack | Leatherworking | Razorclaw the Butcher | Shadowfang Keep |
| Rock Garden | Mining | Relic Guardian | Excavation Site |
| Field Guide | Skinning | Lady Anacondra | Wailing Caverns |
| Spinning Wheel | Tailoring | Unstable Sentinel | City of Dalaran |
Our group runs these dungeons with you until the Blueprint drops or we reach the final attempt. You won’t have to assemble a party just for a single boss and its Blueprint.
Campfire Buffs Cooldown and Camp Limits
All WoW Forever camping objects share a 1-hour cooldown. That’s why one player can place one object per hour. Basic Campfire holds three objects. Journeyman Campfire and Expert Campfire raise this limit to five and ten. This allows the entire group to receive buffs from a single campfire.
A player receives a buff if they sit or craft near the campfire for at least one minute. But enemies from the opposing faction can attack the camp under PvP and RP-PvP rulesets.
The Legacy Permanence perk extends the camp’s buff duration by up to 50%. A player with the Field Guide perk waits up to 25% less for the shared cooldown and can place objects at a greater number of campfires per session. The third perk (Reagent Economy) eliminates the need for materials for Tier 1 objects.
