WoW Forever Leatherworking: How It Works

  1. Placing an Order

You choose the skill range, materials, and extras on the service page. Quick checkout opens a form on the same page for selecting the region, ruleset, and character faction. You won't need to go to a separate checkout page.
  2. Payment

The Buy now button opens the payment method selection on the website. Your ChaosBoost account balance covers up to 100% of the order price. Enter your 10% discount code in the promo code field and click Apply.
  3. Booking

The operator gets your order the moment you pay. They begin booking the booster within 5 minutes in most cases. You'll coordinate the start time and any specific requests with them.
  4. Service Execution

The booster begins the skill-up on your character at the start time. They unlock the Journeyman, Expert, and Artisan ranks from the profession trainers. Your account receives a Legacy point at each of the three skill thresholds.
  5. Order Completion

You can check the order results with the operator. The profession window displays your character's skill level, rank, and the recipes the booster has learned from trainers. You can leave a review of the service on the ChaosBoost website.

The operator closes the order after verifying all its details. Our booster will complete the work for free if the character lacks the skill level, profession rank, or extras from the order.

Frequently Asked Questions

How Long Does Leatherworking 1-300 Take?

A full skill-up to 300 takes about three weeks. Most of this time falls on the Artisan range from 225 to 300. Recipes at this stage consume a lot of Rugged Leather. A shorter range like 150-225 will take less time than the full path.

Can I Use My Own Materials?

The service works with either your materials or our team's materials. You can choose your preference on the service page before payment. Using your own materials is ideal for players with Skinning who collect leather and hides on the same character during quests.

Which Classes Benefit Most From Leatherworking?

The four classes that benefit the most are those that wear leather and mail armor. Druids and Rogues wear leather armor from WoW Forever leatherworking role-based lines up to level 60. Hunters and Shamans also receive mail armor from the Dragonscale sets. These sets cover both damage-dealing and healing roles.

What Character Level Do I Need?

A character needs to be level 35 for a full skill-up to 300. The trainer won't teach the Artisan rank to characters below this level. Your profession caps at 225 skill without this rank. The Journeyman and Expert ranks require the character to be level 10 and 20.

Do Alts Earn Legacy Points Again?

An account receives one Legacy point for each profession threshold once. Reaching the same thresholds on a different character does not give additional points. But any of your characters outside of Hardcore mode can invest these points into the Legacy trees. This allows you to enhance your characters' Professions, Adventure, or Resourcefulness.

New Leatherworking Recipes and Dragonscale Sets

Blizzard has added over 600 new recipes to World of Warcraft Forever. WoW Forever leatherworking now features role-specific armor lines among them for every role in a group. This allows players to craft a belt, pants, and helmet for their role from a single line. We've highlighted four new items for leatherworkers:

  • Wisdom's Leather Leggings - healer pants from the Wisdom's line. They give bonuses to healing, Intellect, and Spirit.
  • Mender's and Skycaller's Leather Belt - healers and casters gain spell power from these belts. A profession trainer teaches both recipes.
  • Skulker's Leather Belt - leatherworkers craft this belt for physical damage at the Tanning Rack in camp.
  • Forceful and Mystic Rugged Armor Kit - Artisan-range armor kits with Attack Power or spell power. Leatherworkers craft both kits from the basic armor kit.

Blizzard has also reworked the three Dragonscale mail sets for specific roles. Each set now serves a single role in a group (Green for healers, Blue for casters, Black for physical damage). These sets no longer provide resistances. This allows Hunters and Shamans to choose a set for their role. Dragonscale recipes are available in the Artisan range above 225 skill.

The Elemental specialization grants healers the Living set in leather. We choose Tribal from among the three profession specializations. Tribal provides recipes for Wolfshead Helm for Druids and the Hide of the Wild cloak. Both items have retained their value in Forever.

Leatherworking 1-300 and Rugged Leather

The path to 300 skill runs through four ranks, from Apprentice to Artisan. Each higher rank grants the account one Legacy point at its cap. A trainer teaches these ranks to characters of the required level.

Legacy ChallengeSkillLevel for RankLegacy Points
Journeyman Leatherworker150101
Expert Leatherworker225201
Artisan Leatherworker300351

Rugged Leather determines the duration of leatherworking leveling in the Artisan range. The game allows you to skin each mob once. That's why the entire journey to 300 skill takes about three weeks, even for players with Skinning on the same character.

Our team handles the Rugged Leather farming in WoW Forever boost with our materials. You won't have to spend weeks hunting down fresh mobs for leather in the 225-300 skill range.

Camp Tent and Tanning Rack Blueprint

Leatherworking gives your character three camp items for use near a campfire. Camp Tent at 20 skill raises Rested XP to 5% of a level once an hour for all players near the tent. This allows the group to accumulate Rested XP at rest stops between quests. Tanning Rack and Sewing Machine give the same bonus.

Tanning Rack requires 140 skill and a blueprint from Razorclaw the Butcher in Shadowfang Keep. Advanced recipes like Skulker's Leather Belt need the rack itself. Any player in camp can craft on someone else's Tanning Rack at the communal campfire. You don't have to set up your own rack just for a single recipe. The third item (Sewing Machine) requires 300 skill.
