How WoW Forever Lockpicking Service Works

  1. Placing an Order

You choose options on the service page with the help of operators. Forever characters do not transfer from one world to another. That's why the Quick checkout form on the same page asks for your Rogue's region, ruleset, and faction.
  2. Payment

The Buy now button opens the payment method selection. You'll receive a personal 10% discount code after registration and enter it in the promo code field before clicking Apply. Your ChaosBoost account balance also covers up to 100% of the price.
  3. Booking

ChaosBoost operators receive your order at the moment of payment. You can add any special requests to it. Our operator will begin the booking within 5 minutes in most cases and coordinate the start time with you.
  4. Service Execution

A Rank 1 booster begins working on your Rogue. They raise the skill to 300 or to the cap by opening chests, doors, and lockboxes with a chance for a skill-up. You won't have to search for locks across two continents.
  5. Order Completion

The operator reviews the results with you. You can leave feedback on our Rank 1 booster's work on the ChaosBoost website after the order closes.

The operator closes the order when your Rogue's skill reaches 300 or the cap for your character's current level. Our team will make up any missing points to reach this mark for free.

FAQ

How Long Does Lockpicking 1-300 Take?

The duration depends on your starting skill level and your Rogue's level. Your cap increases by five points with each character level. A level 60 Rogue can reach the 300 mark. The operator will coordinate with you on when the booster will begin lockpicking leveling from the current value.

Can I Use My Own Materials?

You won't need any materials because Pick Lock doesn't consume them when it opens locks. Points come from chests, doors, and lockboxes. Your Rogue needs a set of Thieves' Tools in their bags for Pick Lock. The character receives this set during the training quest or can purchase it from vendors in Stormwind City, Undercity, and Orgrimmar.

Where Do You Learn Lockpicking Recipes?

There are no recipes for this skill in Forever. Rogues learn Pick Lock from their class trainer at level 16. Training quests send Alliance players to Lucius in Lakeshire and Horde players to Wrenix the Wretched in Ratchet to obtain a set of Thieves' Tools. The skill then increases by picking locks that give a skill-up at the current value.

Does Lockpicking Give Legacy Points?

This skill does not grant Legacy points to your account. Legacy Challenges in the Tradeskills section do not count it toward your progress. This section tracks progress across the six main professions (without gathering professions) from Alchemy to Tailoring across your entire Battle.net account. Character levels for each class also grant Legacy points.

WoW Classic Lockpicking Guide Changes

Blizzard has not described the changes to Lockpicking in World of Warcraft Forever patch notes. But the game has moved it from the Classic class skills to the secondary skills group alongside First Aid. The Alliance training quest Alther's Mill has also received updates. Another new feature is the level-23 class quest Goblin Lockpicks from Veenix in Stonetalon Mountains, which rewards Breaching Charge for the gate to the courtyard of Shadowfang Keep. You won't need to cross-reference Classic guides with the Forever client.

The Working Overtime perk from the Professions tree in the Legacy system also speeds up Lockpicking progression. Each rank of this perk adds 4% to the chance of a skill-up. The fifth rank increases the bonus to 20% for all professions and class skills. This results in more skill-ups from the same chests, doors, and lockboxes. We recommend investing your spare Legacy points into Working Overtime before placing your order so that your Rogue gets this bonus for the entire route.

Where to Level Lockpicking in Forever

WoW Forever lockpicking route begins at level 16 in Alther's Mill for the Alliance or on the ship Tide Razor south of Ratchet for the Horde. Next come footlockers with thresholds of 70 and 110 in Wetlands and at Durnholde Keep. Dented Footlockers in The Slag Pit and doors in Blackrock Depths give skill-ups beyond the 200 mark. Our booster will complete this route on your character. You won't have to reset Blackrock Depths under the five-instance-per-hour limit.

Rogue Lockpicking for Scarlet Monastery Doors

A Rogue at the 175 mark can pick the locks on Scarlet Monastery doors without The Scarlet Key. This level 30-46 dungeon locks the Armory and Cathedral wings with a key. A group of five players with such a Rogue won't have to run through the Library to Doan's Strongbox behind Arcanist Doan just to get the key to these wings. The 300 mark gives access to all lockboxes and endgame doors. Our WoW Forever boost covers both thresholds for a level 60 Rogue.
