Mining Leveling Guide Changes in Forever
Mining in World of Warcraft Forever does not give Legacy points for skill milestones. But the Bountiful Harvest perk in the Professions tree of the Legacy system adds 20% per rank to the chance of finding additional Scarce materials when gathering ore, herbs, and hides. The chance reaches 100% at rank 5 of this perk. We recommend taking it on a character who farms Thorium after our boost. This allows you to collect more Scarce materials from each vein.
Blizzard has also changed the market for rare reagents in Forever. The goblin Mister Graphed at the Black Market sells the Scarce material Pyrite for 5 g. Arcane Crystal from the same vendor costs 50 g. We believe these fixed prices limit their value on the auction house. You won’t have to overpay other players for these reagents.
Molten Foundry at skill level 300 smelts the new Heavy Thorium ore into bars. A regular forge cannot process it. Its veins are in the Scourge area on Mount Hyjal. Our boost to 300 gives your character access to the Smelt Heavy Thorium recipe from any city trainer. This allows you to smelt Heavy Thorium at a campfire with Molten Foundry.
Mining 1-300 and Thorium Zones
Our team handles WoW Forever mining from 1 to 300 alongside Smelting. The final stretch of skill leveling takes place at Thorium Ore veins in level 50-60 zones. That’s why a full boost to 300 requires a character capable of handling fights against local mobs and elite patrols.
You keep the ore and bars from each stage. Blacksmithing and Engineering use these bars in their recipes. This gives you a supply of metal for one of these professions.
Lodestone and Rock Garden Camping Objects
Lodestone is the first camping object a character learns from a trainer at Mining 20. This stone gives a melee attack power buff to you and every player at your campfire. The buff lasts one hour after a minute of rest. Lodestone’s effect does not stack with a paladin’s Blessing of Might. You won’t have to look for a paladin to join your group just for this buff.
Rock Garden at Mining 140 maintains this buff and spawns a regular ore vein at the camp. This allows you to collect ore by the campfire without having to search the area for veins. Relic Guardian drops the Rock Garden blueprint at the end of the Excavation Site dungeon for level 24-29 groups in the Wetlands. Molten Foundry at Mining 300 also gives the Lodestone effect. The skill after our boost meets the thresholds for all three camping objects of this profession.
