WoW Forever Transmog and Classic Mode
World of Warcraft Forever leaves transmog up to the player. The default mode disables it until you decide otherwise. The game allows you to transmog items at your level or lower while you’re leveling. It unlocks the entire collection for transmog at level 60. This allows you to wear outfits from Wailing Caverns and Deadmines long before you reach the level cap, while your character is still completing leveling quests.
How Appearances Unlock in Dungeons
Looting an item adds its appearance to your collection. The game determines which of the five party members will receive it according to three criteria:
- Uncommon and Rare BoP dungeon items - every party member eligible to loot that item receives the appearance. Losing a roll does not deprive the player of this reward.
- Epic raid items - the game adds their appearance to the collection of the item’s owner.
- BoE items - selling them to a vendor binds an item with an appearance new to you. Its appearance goes to your collection after the sale.
Your character is therefore in the group for every run. Our team invites you before the first pull and clears the dungeon from the entrance to the final boss. You won’t have to compete with random players in rolls for the item from your order.
Transmog Sets Worth Farming
Forever dungeons give transmog sets for all armor types throughout your character’s journey from Wailing Caverns to level 60. You can therefore collect a set for any class while you level up. We consider the following six options to be the most interesting for farming:
- Tier 0 - nine class-specific sets from level 55-60 dungeons. The class option on the service page chooses one of them for your character.
- Embrace of the Viper - a full set from Wailing Caverns that changes a druid’s Cat Form into a snake.
- Defias Leather - all five pieces of this leather set drop in Deadmines.
- Rotmender's Raiment - players collect five cloth pieces in Ruins of Lordaeron.
- Violet Sorcerer's Vestments - City of Dalaran gives five pieces of this set for spellcasters.
- Chain of the Scarlet Crusade - six pieces of mail from Scarlet Monastery grant bonuses against undead.
The bonuses from these sets increase as the number of pieces on a character rises. A complete five-piece set of Violet Sorcerer's Vestments gives every damage-dealing spell a chance to summon an Arcane elemental to aid you in a fight. That’s why we recommend the full set option to players who want both the appearance and the bonuses.
