Bloodmoon

Bloodmoon

Buy Bloodmoon at ChaosBoost and stop sweating your melee weapon slot in WoW: TBC Anniversary for good. Three craft tiers, 22 Eternium Bars, 12 Primal Nethers from heroic dungeons, 5 Nether Vortex from SSC and TK - all on a character with Blacksmithing 375 and Master Axesmith specialization. You either spend a month of your life on this, or we craft the axe in a few days.

Key Rewards & Results

  • Bloodmoon (ilvl 136 Epic Two-Hand Axe) - 375-564 damage, 3.70 speed, 126.89 DPS on par with T5 raid drops
  • +56 Critical Strike Rating - that's 2.54% crit chance at 70, and for an Orc Warrior with Axe Specialization the total weapon crit bonus hits 7.5%+
  • +112 Attack Power - raw AP with zero wasted budget on secondary stats like Stamina
  • Master Axesmith Specialization - if you pick Full Craft, your Blacksmithing stays leveled for future items
  • Upgrade Path Completed - Lunar Crescent and Mooncleaver are built into the final craft, no need to order each tier separately

Bloodmoon solves the biggest headache for melee DPS in Phase 2 - depending on raid loot RNG for your weapon. While other players slam their heads against weekly lockouts hoping to win an axe off a boss, you walk into raid with ilvl 136 already equipped and spend your rolls on trinkets and tier tokens.

Requirements

  • Level 70 character
  • Class that can use Two-Hand Axes: Warrior, Paladin, Shaman, Hunter
  • Access to Outland content
  • For Full Craft option: an open profession slot or existing Blacksmithing

How This Service WorksHow This Service Works

  • Pick Your Tier

Choose between Lunar Crescent (ilvl 110), Mooncleaver (ilvl 123), or the final Bloodmoon, and select Full Craft if your Blacksmithing isn't leveled yet

  • Profession Setup

The booster levels Blacksmithing to 375, completes the Weaponsmithing quest chain, and picks up Axesmith specialization from Kilram in Everlook

  • Reagent Farming

The heaviest stage: 22 Eternium Bars, 4 Primal Might, 12 Primal Earth, 12 Primal Air, 10 Primal Mana, 12 Primal Nethers from Heroic final bosses, and 5 Nether Vortex from T5 raid trash

  • Tiered Crafting

Lunar Crescent goes first, upgrades into Mooncleaver, then into the final version, and every enchant gets wiped between tiers - so we only enchant the last one

  • Handoff and Verification

The booster confirms the craft in your inventory, screenshots the stats, and hands the account back

Service Start & Delivery

We lock in your order right after purchase. Most boosters start within 2-8 hours. If you're only getting the final tier without Full Craft, delivery takes 2-4 days - most of that goes to farming Nether Vortex from SSC/TK trash runs. Full Craft with Blacksmithing from scratch stretches to 7-10 days.

Express order bumps you to the front of the queue. We match you with a booster who actually knows the service - nobody who only ran PvP carry gets assigned to this, because knowing SSC trash farm routes saves hours. Nether Vortex is tied to raid resets, so timing matters: an order placed Monday wraps up faster than one placed Thursday.

FAQ

Gamers ask these in our support chat daily - here are the most common ones.

Can I just order Mooncleaver without the final upgrade?

Yeah, pick the tier you want at checkout. Lunar Crescent, Mooncleaver, and Bloodmoon are all separate options.

Does the enchant on Mooncleaver survive the upgrade to Bloodmoon?

No. Any enchant gets wiped when you upgrade between tiers - that's a game mechanic, not our mistake. We skip enchanting intermediate versions on purpose so you don't burn gold for nothing. 56 crit rating and 112 AP on a bare axe already beat most enchanted alternatives.

What if I'm already Hammersmith or Swordsmith?

Swapping specialization costs gold and drops your access to recipes from the old branch. The booster handles the switch to Axesmith as part of the service - just let us know upfront so we factor it into the timeline. Usually takes 15-20 minutes and about 100 gold.

How fast can you realistically get 5 Nether Vortex?

Depends on raid resets. Trash in SSC and TK respawns, and our group pulls 5-8 vortex per evening on a single reset. Sometimes RNG hits hard though - lowest we've seen is 3 from a full trash run. On average we lock down all 5 in 1-2 sessions. Cheap in terms of effort? Not even close. But the result is guaranteed.

Is this actually better than waiting for a raid drop?

Here's the thing. RNG doesn't negotiate. Bloodmoon at ilvl 136 with a pure DPS stat profile competes with axes from SSC/TK, but you get it guaranteed - no weekly lockout, no loot council drama, no need to be in a guild with a raid schedule.

Bloodmoon Crafting: Full Reagent Breakdown

Here's every reagent across the full upgrade path from Lunar Crescent to Bloodmoon - so you can see the scale of the grind before you purchase.

Reagent Amount Source
Eternium Bar 22 Mining / AH
Primal Might 4 Transmute / AH
Primal Earth 12 Mob farm / AH
Primal Air 12 Elemental farm / AH
Primal Mana 10 Netherstorm farm
Primal Nether 12 Heroic Dungeon bosses
Nether Vortex 5 SSC / TK raid trash

Twelve Primal Nethers means at least 12 Heroic Dungeons, because Nethers only drop from the final boss. And 5 Nether Vortex is Phase 2 raid content - no attunement, no group, no entry. Even if you have the gold for everything on the AH, the BoP reagents force you to farm them yourself.

What is Bloodmoon?

Bloodmoon is the final tier of the crafted epic two-hand axe line from the Axesmith branch of Blacksmithing in WoW: TBC Anniversary. Item level 136, pure PvE DPS profile: 56 Critical Strike Rating and 112 Attack Power with zero Stamina. The line goes Lunar Crescent → Mooncleaver → Bloodmoon, and each tier demands rarer reagents and a higher profession skill level.

Among crafted weapons in TBC, the Axesmith line stands out because its stats are completely predictable - no RNG involved. Stormherald gives you a stun proc with random uptime, Lionheart Champion relies on a chance-on-hit Strength buff - but the Axesmith axe just adds flat AP and crit, every fight, every swing. Ordering this craft through boosters is faster than spending weeks on profession leveling, heroic grinds, and loot competition over Nether Vortex in raids - especially when the season is already rolling and every reset counts.
