FAQ

Is Sethekk Halls the only dungeon with the Raven Lord mount?

Yes, the Raven Lord mount can only be obtained exclusively in Sethekk Halls (Heroic) and nowhere else. This unique epic mount drops from the boss Anzu with a chance of less than 2%. No other dungeon or raid in World of Warcraft: The Burning Crusade Classic contains the Raven Lord, so players farm Sethekk Halls specifically for this rare reward.

Can Sethekk Halls be farmed reliably on Heroic difficulty?

Yes, an experienced group can reliably farm Heroic Sethekk Halls. Despite the stronger enemies and daily run limit, boosters use proper crowd control and tactics against the annoying fear mechanics to be fast at clearing the instance. Heroic dungeons offer improved rewards (Badge of Justice, epics) and a chance at Raven Lord, so daily farming pays off with a professional team.

Which specs benefit most from Sethekk Halls caster and shadow loot?

Caster DPS classes (especially Warlocks and Shadow Priests) benefit the most from Sethekk Halls loot, increasing their shadow damage and significantly boosting their DPS due to items like Trousers of Oblivion from the Oblivion set. Mages can also increase their spell power with gear from here. However, specializing in shadow damage allows you to unlock the full potential of these items.

Is Sethekk Halls faster for gold than Mana-Tombs?

Sethekk Halls provides a steady income of gold and rare trophies. The comparison with Mana-Tombs depends on the player's goals. Mana-Tombs is known for its fast clears and decent amount of raw gold from mobs, making it popular for gold farming. However, Sethekk Halls also provides a good income from boss and mob loot, plus you can get the Raven Lord mount at the same time. With a professional boost, the time difference is minimal.
