FAQ

What raids drop T5 Set in TBC Classic?

The Tier 5 set is assembled from tokens that are obtained in two TBC Classic raids: Tempest Keep (The Eye) and Serpentshrine Cavern. Lady Vashj (the final boss of SSC) is guaranteed to drop a token for a Tier 5 helmet. Kael'thas Sunstrider from Tempest Keep is guaranteed to drop a token for a Tier 5 chestplate.

How long does a full T5 Set Boost usually take?

A full T5 set boost usually takes several weeks. Boosters typically collect the entire set in 2-4 weeks of runs in Tempest Keep and Serpentshrine Cavern. Additional options (Express, Loot Priority) significantly speed up the process and reduce the overall boost time.

Does Token Priority speed up the T5 Set farm?

Yes, the Token Priority option significantly speeds up the acquisition of the Tier 5 set. The client receives all Tier 5 tokens without competition in the raid. The absence of rivals for tokens allows you to collect the set much faster than usual.

Is T5 gear required before entering T6 raids?

No, having a Tier 5 set is not a mandatory requirement for entering Tier 6 raids. The game does not prevent you from visiting Tier 6 content without T5 equipment. However, Tier 5 gear greatly increases your character's stats and makes it easier to run the Mount Hyjal and Black Temple raids.

Can T5 Set Boost help prepare for endgame PvE?

Yes, obtaining a Tier 5 set boosts your character for endgame PvE. This gear provides high stats and increases DPS and survivability in top-level raids. With this gear, your character is ready for Tier 6 raids and other challenging PvE trials.
