The Underbog

Many players choose The Underbog to boost their characters due to the large number of mobs and the high experience points gained for defeating them. This instance gives approximately 10-20% more experience compared to The Slave Pens with a similar clear time. Therefore, The Underbog is considered a reliable place for fast leveling at levels 60-65 in TBC Classic.

Yes, The Underbog is considered one of the main places for reputation farming in Outland. For one run on Heroic, a character receives a large increase in Cenarion Expedition reputation (about 2200 points), which significantly speeds up reaching Revered and obtaining the Reservoir Key. In addition, in the Underbog, you can collect Sanguine Hibiscus - special items that can be exchanged for Sporeggar faction reputation.

Running The Underbog helps prepare for the Serpentshrine Cavern raid. The dungeon provides rare pre-raid items (weapons and armor) that boost your character before going to SSC. Players also increase their Cenarion Expedition reputation and gain access to the heroic mode of Coilfang Reservoir, which is necessary for attunement to Serpentshrine Cavern. As a result, the hero approaches the raid fully prepared in terms of equipment and requirements.

Yes, The Underbog takes a little longer to run, but is considered a safer dungeon compared to The Slave Pens. Despite the high mob density in The Underbog, competent use of crowd control makes it safe to run. Although the Slave Pens can be cleared faster, there are more dangerous bosses there that can lead to a sudden wipe.
