Warp-Spring Coil

Warp-Spring Coil

Buy Warp-Spring Coil at ChaosBoost and skip the weekly ritual of walking into Tempest Keep, killing Loot Reaver, watching yet another Fel Reaver's Piston drop instead of your trinket, and logging off in silence. This trinket stays BiS for Rogue through the entire WoW: TBC Anniversary expansion, and the drop chance from Void Reaver sits around 1 in 7 among non-token items each week. You can run it for a month, you can run it for three - RNG doesn't care about your subscription or your patience.

Key Rewards & Results

  • Warp-Spring Coil (ilvl 128 epic trinket) - a flat +21 Hit Rating that covers a solid chunk of the Rogue hit cap
  • Armor Penetration proc - chance to gain 142 Armor Penetration Rating for 15 seconds on special attacks (proc rate ~25% with a hidden 30-second cooldown)
  • Void Reaver kill - guaranteed boss kill in Tempest Keep: The Eye every week until you get the trinket
  • Tier 5 Shoulder Token - chance to pick up the token from the same boss kill as a bonus

Warp-Spring Coil is one of the first sources of Armor Penetration in TBC, and this stat only scales harder with every phase. By Sunwell BiS setups, the trinket still competes with Dragonspine Trophy and Blackened Naaru Sliver depending on your gear configuration. For any rogue stuck without an ArP trinket in Phase 2-3, the DPS gap is noticeable on every boss encounter.

Service Start & Delivery

We lock in your spot right after payment, and the first run usually happens within 2-10 hours. Void Reaver is the second boss in The Eye, and trash respawns on a 1-hour timer, so our boosters go from the entrance to the kill in about 25-35 minutes on average. The raid group is made of vetted players - no LFG roulette with randoms. Picking the right booster for your order might take a bit of extra time, but the Express option speeds up the start and bumps you to the front of the queue. The actual timeline for getting your Warp-Spring Coil depends entirely on RNG and the weekly reset - the trinket is available once per week, and no purchase or service can bypass that lockout.

FAQ

These are real questions from gamers who ordered this service. Pulled straight from Discord and support chat.

How many weeks does the drop usually take?

Across our 370+ runs, the average is 4-5 weeks. RNG is RNG though - we've seen first-kill drops and eighth-week drops. Void Reaver drops 2 tier tokens and 1 random non-token item per kill, and the Coil is just one of seven in that loot pool.

What if I don't have Tempest Keep attunement?

Add the attunement option when you place your order. The team will run you through the full quest chain and heroic dungeons before raid lockouts start.

Do I need to be online during the run?

Only if you pick Selfplay - then you play in the raid with our team and press the buttons on your own rogue. With Piloted, the booster logs into your account through your region's VPN, and you can go do whatever you want. You get a notification after each run.

If it doesn't drop, do I pay again?

No. You pay once for the result. The service keeps going every week until Warp-Spring Coil lands in your inventory - whether that takes two weeks or ten.

Can I grab T5 shoulders too if the token drops?

Yeah, the Tier 5 Shoulder Token from Void Reaver goes to you automatically as extra loot - if it drops on the same kill. We can't guarantee the token will show up, but this bonus happens in roughly one out of every three runs.

What is Warp-Spring Coil?

Warp-Spring Coil is an epic trinket (ilvl 128) for the Rogue class in WoW: TBC Anniversary. It gives a permanent +21 Hit Rating and a proc that grants 142 Armor Penetration Rating for 15 seconds. The item drops exclusively from Void Reaver, the second boss in the Tempest Keep: The Eye raid. The proc fires at roughly a 25% rate off any energy-spending special attack and has a hidden 30-second cooldown, making it a consistent ArP source during longer boss fights.

Sounds simple - easiest boss in Tier 5 content, why would you even need a cheap boost? But Void Reaver drops 2 tier tokens and just 1 random non-token item from a pool of 7. Every week you're looking at roughly a 14% shot to see the trinket in the loot window. And if you raid with a guild that has two other rogues, split that 14% three ways and the math gets ugly fast. An order through ChaosBoost solves both problems: guaranteed loot priority and weekly runs with no skips.

Armor Penetration and Where the Coil Fits in Rogue BiS

Phase Primary ArP Source ArP Rating
Phase 2 Warp-Spring Coil proc 142 (proc)
Phase 3 Gear + trinket ~400-600
Phase 4 BT/Hyjal gear + trinket ~800-1000
Phase 5 Sunwell BiS ~1300-1400

Warp-Spring Coil shows up in Phase 2 as basically the only available Armor Penetration source for Rogue in TBC. Early on the stat is rare, and that scarcity makes every point of ArP hit harder - especially on bosses with armor already shredded by Expose Armor, Faerie Fire, and Curse of Recklessness. Players stack ArP naturally through gear in later phases, but the trinket holds its own in competitive trinket slots all the way through Sunwell.

For Combat Rogue in Phase 2-3, the gap between having the trinket and not having it is a consistent 3-5% total damage bump on boss fights lasting 3+ minutes. On short encounters like Void Reaver itself the proc might not get full uptime, but on longer SSC and TK bosses this trinket fires on every hidden cooldown. And the more debuffs shred a boss's armor, the harder each point of ArP hits - exponential scaling, not linear.
