Who Can Use Beastmaster Armor Set?

A hunter from any faction can wear this set. Each piece binds when picked up and remains with you after you turn in the quest. We believe that Beast Mastery gets the most out of this set because this specialization builds damage around the pet in Forever.

What Level Do You Need for Beastmaster Armor Set?

The quest chain in Classic required level 58. Blizzard recommends level 60 for each stage. We advise ordering the set for a level 60 character, because the fight against Valthalak in Upper Blackrock Spire requires a max-level group. NPCs will not give the first quest to characters below level 58.

What Stats Does Beastmaster Armor Set Have?

The set’s core stats are Agility, Stamina, and Intellect. Agility gives the hunter both attack power and a critical strike chance in Forever. Cap adds hit chance, which in Forever improves the accuracy of shots from bows, guns, or crossbows, as well as traps. Gloves, Tunic, and Boots also boost the pet’s critical strike chance, armor, and damage.

Do I Need Beaststalker Armor First?

A hunter needs all eight pieces of Beaststalker Armor. The chain quest takes one or two of them at each exchange stage. Its final quest “Saving the Best for Last” accepts Cap and Tunic. All T0 items in Classic dropped in Scholomance, Stratholme, and Blackrock Spire.

Does the Chain Give a Legacy Point?

Clearing the quest chain completes the Adventure category Legacy Challenge. This challenge grants your account one Legacy Point. Any of your characters can spend these points on perks in the Professions, Adventure, and Resourcefulness trees. The game also counts the challenge toward all other rulesets (from Normal to RP-PvP) if you cleared the quest chain in Hardcore mode.

How to Get Beastmaster Armor

A hunter receives Tier 0.5 in exchange for pieces of Beaststalker Armor. The quest “An Earnest Proposition” from Deliana in Ironforge or Mokvar in Orgrimmar unlocks the Dungeon Set 2 chain. Our team completes all the summons in this chain alongside your character. You won’t have to find a group for every summon. Brazier of Beckoning summons the spirits of the quest chain in five dungeons:

Bodley’s ghost sends the player to collect parts of Valthalak’s amulet from two of the four spirits. Mor Grayhoof’s spirit appears in War Master Voone’s chamber. The final summon sends Valthalak back to The Beast’s lair in Upper Blackrock Spire, where Classic had the toughest fight for a group of ten players.

Each step of the quest chain in Classic required a T0 piece, materials, and gold. The first quest took Beaststalker’s Bindings, 15 samples of blood from Winterspring or venom from Silithus, and 20 g from the player for the first piece of the new set. That’s why none of the hunter’s slots stays empty during the upgrade.

Beastmaster Armor Pieces and Upgrades

Blizzard has revamped the Tier 0.5 set bonuses in World of Warcraft Forever. Two Beastmaster pieces give resistance to all schools of magic. The third piece of the set adds mana regeneration. A hunter needs five pieces for the Beast Unleashed class effect and six for attack power. The chain upgrades each T0 piece to the T0.5 version in the same slot.

You collect all set bonuses when you equip six out of eight pieces. The chain gives you Bindings, Belt, and Gloves in its early stages. This allows you to gain the two-piece and three-piece bonuses long before the fight against Valthalak. We recommend wearing all eight pieces until you obtain your first items from Barrow Deeps or Hyjal Summit, because each set item gives Agility and Stamina.

WoW Forever Hunter BiS After Tier 0

A level 60 hunter swaps out Beaststalker for Tier 0.5 according to WoW Forever hunter BiS lists. So the hunter fills all eight slots with strong gear even before raids. The classic Hurricane bow in Forever adds 6–11 Frost damage to every auto-attack instead of a chance to proc Frost Arrow. The hunter obtains new tier sets in the 20-player Hyjal Summit raid.
